Job Purpose

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Shipping Coordinator located in Tuas. Our clients serve the Asia region. Supplying such as Marine Engines, Industrial Power Equipment, Energy System, Engineering Services and Spare Parts in Singapore. The role focuses on managing export shipments, including preparing commercial documents such as invoices and shipping paperwork, coordinating with the warehouse team, and arranging shipments with external vendors like freight forwarders. It also involves handling Letters of Credit, processing purchase orders, and issuing shipping instructions across various regions. Key responsibilities include negotiating delivery costs, monitoring inbound shipments, tracking logistics expenses, and addressing claims related to shortages or defective parts. - Collaborate closely with the front-end marketing team to assist in Pre-Qualification (PQ) processes.

- Provide support for Marketing and Business Development Team to Discuss with Customer / Consultants on issues lacking clarity, PQ Criteria, technical discussions etc.

- Proficient in comprehending and interpreting tender requirements pertinent to Pre-Qualification processes.

- Prepare comprehensive Pre-Qualification Documents encompassing general, financial, and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with bid submission guidelines.

- Conduct in-depth analysis on competitors, generating insightful reports on their references and credentials to support strategic decision-making.

- Update and maintaine existing databases for completed projects in collaboration with departments such as projects and planning, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of project-related information.

Job Description:

The Sales Executive will promote the Company’s assets for rental and sales and will be accountable for the entire sales process. He/She will need to visit clients (new and old) and their project sites or new sites to canvass for business and successfully secure the order. He/She will also need to liaise with the Operations team to ensure smooth delivery of the assets to the client site. He/She will also need to follow up with their clients to ensure that invoices are paid and monies collected within a reasonable time frame.

He/She will report directly to the Sales Manager (if applicable), or directly to Managing Director and General Manager and will regularly update them on sales pipeline, discussion progress and implements activities to achieve the targets set by the Company.
