Essential:

Work Schedule:

Role Overview

The Business Coordinator will work with the BGA Lead to play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of BGA’s activities, initiatives and stakeholder communication.

This role combines operational execution, administrative coordination, and partnership engagement to drive the efficiency and impact of the BGA’s programmes, including hackathon sponsorships and management, incubation programme and engagement, joint fund development, and the prestigious annual ceremony, the Web3 Oscar.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Coordination

• Coordinate with the BGA Lead over the operations across key BGA initiatives, such as hackathons, incubation programmes, and events with marketing, business development and partnerships teams.
• Oversee the adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution of BGA activities.
• Engage with vendors, partners, and internal teams to meet project requirements.

2. Administrative Support

• Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and communication materials.
• Schedule and organize meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation across the BGA.
• Act as the central point of contact between the BGA Lead, team and external stakeholders, streamlining communications.

3. Partnership Coordination

• Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, advisors, and sponsors.
• Support the onboarding process for partners, ensuring alignment with BGA’s goals and requirements.
• Track partnership deliverables and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.

4. Process Improvement

• Work with the BGA Lead to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workflows, including hackathon-to-incubation transitions and joint fund processes.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in current processes, proposing actionable solutions.

5. Event Support

• Assist in planning and executing BGA events, including logistics, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
• Coordinate participant registration, event materials, and post-event reporting.

6. Data and Reporting

• Collect and analyze data from BGA activities to provide insights on impact and progress.
• Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Role Purpose (Why do we need this role?)

The Senior Project Coordinator works closely with the PMO team and Transformation Division by coordinating project activities, with a particular emphasis on the ‘Fit for Future Programme’. This programme is critical for our ongoing transformation efforts by ensuring our organisational teams are best equipped to address future needs. Through the Fit for Future Programme and other projects, this role will involve regular communication with senior leadership and support the smooth execution of strategic initiatives within the Programme Management team and the broader Transformation Division.
