An ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) Installation Site Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the installation of ACMV. Their duties and responsibilities are focus on ensuring the project is completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. Detailed breakdown of their responsibilities shall be as below and but not limited to:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Work Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all activities related to the installation of ACMV systems, ensuring that work is carried out according to the project timeline.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure that manpower, materials, and equipment are available as per project needs and schedules.
• Coordination with Contractors: Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors involved in the installation process to ensure timely delivery and work execution.

2. Site Supervision

• Site Setup: Oversee the setup of the installation site, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are in place.
• Installation Supervision: Monitor the installation of ACMV systems such as ducting, piping, chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), BMS system, ESCS system, Jet Fan system and other components.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that the installation is carried out according to safety regulations and that all team members are adhering to safety protocols (e.g., wearing PPE, following safety guidelines).

Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator shall assists Project Manager in oversees the planning, implementation, execute, monitor and track projects from beginning till end with specified deliverables.

The role of the Project Coordinator will be able to learn and equip with a full suite of comprehensive exposure and knowledge on Project management that covers proposal, product sourcing, timeline management, cost and resource control and quality management.

Recap of Duties: Inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work and unsafe practices

• Advice on the measures to be taken in the interest of workplace safety and health and Safe Management Measures (SMM).
• Assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence that occurs.
• Conduct in-house training to the workforce
• To work independently on the ground.
• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Assist WSHO in all Safety related matters for the project
• Assist DSTA to inspect the worksite for safety infringement according to WSH Act and AOS;
• Work with DSTA and Contractor to review the risk assessment during each phase of construction and present them to DSTA’s Safety Action Group to ensure that measures to be taken in the approved risk assessment are implemented on site
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
