Construction Coordinator reports to Asst. Project Manager and assist in supervising, monitoring, and coordinating structural/MEP/Architectural works carried out by subcontractors via daily inspection and monitoring to ensure all trade works are constructed according to specified requirements and schedule. Job duties include reporting site progression, surveying, ordering of construction materials, maintenance of site facilities, ensuring all site health and safety rules and regulations are abided by, daily scheduling and allocation of manpower, and issuing of work instructions as stipulated by project requirement.

The Architectural Coordinator assists the Architect & the Project Manager in supervision of all architectural works at Project Site to ensure that works performed by construction coordinators and subcontractors are in accordance with specifications, drawings and stipulated work programme as well as quality requirement, standards and architectural construction materials are efficiently utilized. The Architectural Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating with the client’s representative, consultant, subcontractor, other trade coordinators, and the BIM (Building Information Modelling) team, and managing a team of construction coordinators to ensure the project is completed profitably.

Major Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with hirers and work with Venue Sales, Technical and Front-of-House teams to deliver all aspects of production needs
• Support the Venue Sales Team in ensuring hirers' needs are met
• Attend site meetings with Venue Sales personnel, generate production cost estimates for hirers and meeting notes for OVM team
• Act as liaison between hirer’s production team and OVM in-house technicians
• Manage all production needs for performances/ events assigned
• Ensure event-specific technical rider is generated for every event following discussions with the relevant
• production staff; provide cost estimates to hirers after production meetings
• Ensure hirers and technicians comply with standard operating procedures and the working environment is safe at all times
• Work closely with technical team during production, ensure technicians conduct pre-show checks before each performance and venue is safe and ready for public admittance before handing over to FOH for house

• Liaise with FOH during performance/ events
• Understand emergency plan and safety and security procedures of building to facilitate effective evacuation when required
• Close timesheets for technicians and production services account after event; submit incident reports as required
• Document and archive all relevant information, correspondence and processes for each production completed
• Engage in cross-training and functions in venue and production operations and project management
• Support school-wide events and key activities

Job Requirements

• Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in live performance management (preferably in arts and entertainment industry)
• Possess good working knowledge of production disciplines and technical aspects of theatres and exhibition/ event spaces
• Familiar with policies and procedures in performing arts venues will be an added advantage
• Possess good working knowledge and operational skill in managing the Event Business Management System (EBMS) will be an added advantage
• Excellent customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, including strong organisational and report writing skills
• Possess positive and motivated personality with good initiative, and pro-active with a high level of commitment to meet deadlines
