• Guide the development of the site project orientation and coordinate the EHS Training program for all personnel coming to site. Participate in the EHS audit and inspection schemes being applied. Establish and maintain effective communications and coordination between Owner and FSME. Audit and monitor all FSME EHS Program, advise the Construction Manager and field supervisors of any shortfalls and provide specialist support.
• Participate in scheduled inspections of all work areas to ensure compliance on the part of FSME with regard to safe working practices and application of EHS program and ensure field personnel are monitoring their EHS performance.
• Review all incident investigation and Near Miss reports to ensure that the appropriate corrective actions are generated, and ensure that the project maintains records and documentation as per the statutory requirements.
• Monitor EHS status and periodically reports to the PM and SM on performance. Produce project EHS statistics and reports where applicable.
• Communicate Incident reports and lessons learnt to project personnel. Provide advice to FSME in the development of risk assessment. Advise supervisory staff and employees in the implementation of strategies to identify and control potential hazards.
• Provide assistance to site supervisors with Incident investigation and initiate analysis to discover accident trends and corrective actions.
• Attend SDM Pre-start and Toolbox Meetings. Conduct safety inspections and assessments. Assist supervisors to resolve hazard issues. Attend scheduled Project HSE meetings.
• Ensure the injury Management process is being adhered to and monitor & guide any rehabilitation or return to work requirements.
• Arrange and participate in site safety training activities as well as coordinate and/or conduct additional project specific employee safety training as identified through the project training needs analysis. To develop, update and implement the Project EHS Activity Plan as a tool to manage site EHS activities in a systematic manner.

Job Description:

1. Supervise daily ongoing activities at worksite in support of WSH regulations

2. Facilitate EHS dept requirements and cooperate with team on corrective actions recommended by WSHO

3. Take note of workers’ safety concerns and respond or report accordingly to relevant supervisor and manager

4. Ensure work activities comply to work permits’ requirements (e.g. confined space, hot work, work at height etc.) at all times

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of working experience in WSH in Construction Industry

2. Possess a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course

3. Able to work independently with a positive attitude and minimal supervision

4. Good interpersonal and communication Skills

5. Able to speak and write basic English for reporting purposes

6. Able to commence work on short notice would be an advantage

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Electrical engineering or any related field.

• Strong knowledge of applicable codes/regulations and authorities’ requirements relating to electrical services, building construction, and safety.

• At least 4 years of experience in the construction industry.

• Must have experience with landed houses.

• Conversant with local codes and regulations.

• Have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• To oversee, plan, and assign site foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed to guarantee that the project is finished on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

• Contribute to discussions and negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical electrical issues.

• Collaborate with architectural and structural teams to manage design schedules and site coordination.

• Oversee submission and approval of drawings with relevant parties, ensuring accurate service installations.

• To assist LEW with any submission drawings and documents related to SP.

• Must be proficient in using AutoCAD software

• Utilize CAD for drawing preparation and updates.

• Conduct design reviews, ensuring alignment with project requirements and resolving any discrepancies or technical challenges.

• Develop the electrical works’ project schedule and monitor/update as the project progresses.

• Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation (i.e., shop drawings) and technical report writing.

• Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.

• Provide evaluation and assessment of subcontractor progress claim and performance.

• Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.

• Liaise with consultants and authorities on electrical matters.

• To assist LEW in the preparation of CS/1 application for connection to the transmission system and for the energization of the service connection (SPPG).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, PowerPoint presentation and documenting minutes.

2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.

3. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan, escalating to Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Project Director (PD) any necessary requirement from customers.
