· To carry out inspection/trade demo/ material testing / mock-up

· To verify VO and prepare back charges.

· Attend sub-con meetings.

· To check and ensure compliance with TOP check list and RI (Arch)

· Attend to Architectural materials, sample board, trade

· demo and shop drawings submission and submittal reviews comment from consultants.

· Complete design studies and monitor builds

· Create work schedules.

· To update Architectural progress with scheduling tools.

· Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

· Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.

· Relevant HDB experience will be added advantage.

Requirements

· Diploma/ Degree in Architectural or a related discipline

· Relevant qualification of certificates in architectural discipline

· Able to lead the sub-contractors to ensure smooth

· progress of works, high quality standards and minimal defects.

· Preferably completed QM project

· Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.

· Good knowledge of Architectural specs and BCA quality requirements.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of BIM.

· Min. 8 years experience in Singapore construction projects.

· High degree of initiative and strong analytical skill

· Knowledge in A&A works / Project works welcome

• You shall diligently plan, schedule the works and deploy the relevant workers and/or sub-contractors to carry out the works and complete them in a timely manner.
• You shall supervise the works closely so as to ensure the correct and approved materials and methods are used and executed, besides coordinating the works.
• You must be contactable at all times (i.e 24 hrs a day) during the contract period or extended contract period to receive instructions from Client.
• You shall report to the respective zones to take instruction and diligently plan, schedule the works and deploy the relevant workers and/or subcontractors to carry out the works as and when required by our Client.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum a Diploma in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering with least 3 years of relevant working experience in the building construction industry; or
• Possess a National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or at least 5 years of similar capacity relevant working in the building construction industry; or
• Other qualifications and working experience in the building construction industry acceptable to the Superintending Officer's Representative.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Managing day to day operations of joinery/Carpentry and other renovation works/ID fit-outs (eg. partitions) at project locations.

· Managing projects on an on-going basis through regular progress meetings and preparation of progress reports.

· Effectively communicate clients’ needs and requirements to the different stakeholders.

· Ensure quality and workmanship of construction works are satisfactory to clients’ expectations.

· Project planning of all labour and sub-contractors.

· Show strong cost control and budgeting abilities.

· Liaising with carpentry workshop production with schedule of joinery.

· Execute projects, allocate work schedule, prioritise workflow and ensure projects are handed over to clients timely.

· Deal with problems as they arise and provide effective solutions.
