This position will be responsible to support all aspects of the operation using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to help drive an efficient operation as well as overcoming any system hurdles.

About the role

The PC will work together with the Project Managers and is responsible for:

• Compliance with Fugro’s and client’s Document Control procedures and keeping the Master Document Registers up to date.
• Setting up and amending Project schedules for the Project Managers.
• Preparation of Project Documentation, like Project Execution Plans, any required bridging documents, which need to comply with the Fugro Document Standard (FDS).

Construction Coordinator reports to Asst. Project Manager and assist in supervising, monitoring, and coordinating structural/MEP/Architectural works carried out by subcontractors via daily inspection and monitoring to ensure all trade works are constructed according to specified requirements and schedule. · Maintain Rentokil Initial approved risk assessment processes to ensure that generic and site-specific risks are identified, assessed and controlled.

· Develop and/or implement and maintain a SHE risk register which identifies the significant SHE risks arising from the business’s activities and the measures required to eliminate / reduce these risks to an acceptable level.

· Maintain monitoring systems to evaluate progress towards the achievement of SHE objectives and targets; compliance with legislative requirements, group / divisional requirements and assess the overall effectiveness of the management system(s).

· Maintain monitoring systems to ensure that accidents, incidents and work-related ill-health cases are reported and investigated in accordance with group and local requirements.

· Assist to plan, prepare, conduct and report internal / external audits and inspections.

· Implement and maintain an effective SHE performance review and improvement planning process at business unit / branch level. Facilitate and participate in country and business unit SHE reviews.

· Ensure that any learning from the monitoring and review processes is integrated into the performance improvement plans and communicated effectively across the country / business unit, as required.

· Identify and spread SHE best practice across the country / business unit(s) range of business activities.

Requirements

· Formal Work Safety and Health qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year experience as a SHE Practitioner

· Knowledge and experience of OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 will be advantageous

· Strong knowledge of MOM regulations

• Conduct inspection with sub-contractors’ supervisors.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment at site are in good working conditions and having all the necessary certificates.
• Ensure all workers at site are wearing appropriate PPE at all time.
• Conduct safety talk/briefing.
• Ensure proper housekeeping by the sub-contractors on the daily basis.
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting with the sub-contractors.
• Conduct safety induction programme for new workers.
• Conduct daily safety inspection on site.
• Ensure all Quality, Occupational, Health and Safety(OHS) rules, regulations and practices are observed
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team

Job requirements:

• Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B
