Job Summary

Job Summary

Purpose of job:

Assist in implementing programmes for Family, Children and Youth.

Key Responsiblities

• Plan, coordinate and conduct programmes for family, children and youth.
• Support the coordination and management of volunteers to ensure effective program delivery.
• Provide support in our Assistance & Referral services
• Attend to clients’ needs (e.g. phone call enquiries, walk-ins, home visits if required).
• Design and create FCY newsletter and engaging marketing materials, including posters, flyers and other collateral, to promote programs and initiatives effectively.
• Provide support with data collection, data entry and administrative tasks related to FCY programme and services.
• Any other duties as assigned by Manager/Programme Executive.

Job Description:

• Assist the Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all MEP services to ensure project completion within schedule.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to monitor work progress.
• Attend progress, site, and MEP meetings as required.
• Interpret and adhere to main contract and sub-contract requirements.
• Review and align M&E design drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and guidelines.
• Oversee M&E subcontractors’ progress, including submissions for drawings, materials, samples, and method statements.
• Ensure M&E works are executed according to approved specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate and ensure timely completion of testing and commissioning.
• Maintain high standards of quality for all site works.

Job Requirements:

• Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in Singapore construction projects.
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate the cost of construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
• Develop and manage project budgets to ensure they are realistic and aligned with project goals.
• Oversee the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of bids.
• Manage contract terms, monitor compliance, and handle variations or amendments to contracts.
• Control project costs by monitoring expenditures and providing regular cost reports.
• Calculate quantities of materials and labor required for construction projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms on behalf of the client
• Coordinate with office, site , workers and clients

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity surveyor or related qualification.
