Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for Project Coordinator to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.

Job Requirement:

• Conduct site inspections, coordinate with customers, and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure secure and professional equipment relocation.
• Ensure third-party vendors meet customer requirements before service execution.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for verification, calibration, maintenance, and repair services.
• Provide metrology services using in-house SOPs, ensuring tools are timely calibrated and maintained.
• Respond to ad-hoc service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Recommend appropriate inventory types and quantities to minimize equipment downtime and support budget planning.
• Ensure sufficient stock of consumables and chemicals under the Inventory Management (IM) program.
• Maintain accurate documentation for services, including training records, service reports, and vendor qualifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications and Criteria:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

M&E Coordinator

Work Location: Changi Naval Base

Project Office at Lavender area

Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday full day

Salary: $3000 to $4000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/Construction Management or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
• Experience in a marine construction company is favourable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Job scope

• Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored (MOS, ITP, RA, safe work procedures).
• Assist manager preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Communicate with contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Able to coordinate site work within trade contractors.
• Able and assist to prepare SD (coordinated shop Drawing) of M&E trades.
• Able to produce 2 weeks Look Ahead program or schedule.
• Able to conduct or lead site walk and presentation.
• Able to identify deviation of work within M&E work scopes.
• Able to prepare, conduct inspection and track progress.
• Able to conduct morning Tool Box meeting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
