We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator specializing in ACMV systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for ACMV projects, ensuring that all designs are accurate, efficient, and aligned with project requirements. The BIM Coordinator will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize workflows and ensure successful project execution.

BIM Management and Coordination:

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for ACMV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of ACMV systems within the overall design.
• Review, verify, and ensure compliance with project BIM execution plans and standards.

Model Creation and Detailing:

• Generate detailed 3D models for ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, and ventilation components, using software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Create accurate shop drawings, schematics, and installation layouts based on the BIM models.

Clash Detection and Resolution:

• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between ACMV systems and other building systems using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.
• Provide solutions to design issues, ensuring efficient coordination and conflict-free models.

Project Documentation and Standards:

• Ensure all BIM models comply with industry and company standards, as well as project-specific requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including revision tracking and as-built models.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for ACMV-related BIM coordination.
• Facilitate regular BIM coordination meetings to address issues, update stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BIM-related processes and software.

Training and Development:

• Train and mentor junior team members in BIM processes and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, tools, and trends to continually improve workflows.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent).
• Familiarity with green building standards and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including ductwork, piping, and ventilation design principles.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in ACMV or MEP fields.

• Attending and preparing NR-10 weekly meeting for Hull, M-17 GE-WASCO & Topside (SNT/PY/TY/SFB)
• NR-10 control for the NR-10 Equipment list & EX list readiness
• NR-10 status reporting for NR-10 dossier readiness
• Control of NR-10 Procedure process flow
• Liaising with Engineering for document updates
• Liaising with Yard for the site status updates and providing support on Engineering maters to Yard.
• Liaising with Commissioning for database updates for NR-10 work matters.
• Liaising with NR-10 Qualified Professional (External consultant) to ensure that the Yard NR-10 Dossier preparation is aligned with NR-10 requirement

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Minutes of meeting experience

1. Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, PowerPoint presentation and documenting minutes.

2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.

3. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan, escalating to Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Project Director (PD) any necessary requirement from customers.

4. Plan, track and monitor the tasks assigned to the managers, team leaders and members

5. Clear and open communication with customers on operations and project issues or clarifications.

6. Assist in creating of PowerPoint presentation and Excel documents.

7. Provide administrative support as needed, such as managing project-related correspondence and other ad-hoc duties.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent

• Proven 3 years’ experience in project coordination or project management support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
