The responsibility of the role of a Trade Marketing Executive includes, but is not limited to managing promoter activities and training, liaising on POSMs (Point of Sale Materials), overseeing trade displays, and conducting market pricing research. The ideal candidate should be able to think out of the box with great analytical thinking and be resourceful to meet tight deadline.

Job Description

• Ensure that products are displayed prominently in retail stores to enhance brand visibility and attract customers, while implementing strategies to optimize product placement and visibility through shelf positioning and signage.
• Create and analyze sell-out reports to monitor product sales performance in retail outlets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities from sales data to guide future marketing and sales strategies.
• Develop, plan, and orchestrate B2B and B2C events including trade shows, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
• Manage POSM production and distribution, execute trade marketing activities, analyze market trends and sales data, and oversee trade displays and promoter training.
• Boost sales and brand recognition - create and execute trade promotions alongside distributors and retailers, ensuring all efforts align with the bigger marketing plan.
• Forge a dynamic team of product evangelists by training and mentoring promoters and product trainers to excel in retail settings.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, commerce, or any related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade activation within the consumer products industry is required, with prior experience in a trade marketing role often preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales data, and consumer behaviour are crucial.
• Pleasant personality, creative, team player and proven success working independently.
• Knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
• Possess good stress management skill and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Forecast planning; Plan and schedule production orders according to demands and available resources
• Coordinate with Project leaders, team members and Production Supervisors on work prioritization according to delivery schedule
• Responsible for material and production planning, requisition of materials and maintenance of BOM and design change implementation
• Responsible for order confirmation based on material and capability availability
• Plan, control and coordinate with purchasers on material deliveries to avoid high stock inventory
• Monitor material availability for production continuity
• Periodically reporting;
• Ensure timely closure of production orders for invoicing
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ degree holder in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience / relevant industries
• Good team player and able to complete tasks assigned in shortest timeline
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good in Microsoft Office
• Independent and proactive
• SAP/MRP knowledge preferred
• This role requires liaison work between several Chinese counterparts, customers and HQ. Proficiency of Mandarin is essential and required

Organizing incoming information and keeping abreast of all priorities & events

Knowledge:

Must be able to hit the ground running
Ability to get things done speedily by using appropriate strategy given a particular challenge,
Speed and accuracy in execution of all tasks
Positive minded, pro-active, highly motivated, team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Word , Outlook etc
