Description of the mission
Safran Nacelles has an ambitious business development plan in the field of services in the Asia and China region with a strong growth of the A320NEO LEAP 1A fleet, a very large A330CEO and A330NEO fleet as well as the entry into service of the C919 that will be supported by the establishment of a new MRO workshop in China by mid 2023.
In this context, we are looking for a South East Asia Sales Director to develop and ensure a good business relationship with Airlines/MRO customers in this region, with the combined objectives of a good commercial execution of current contracts, the settlement of commercial topics and the development of aftersales revenues according to the commercial strategy and objectives including among other things the sale of Services contracts.
To do this:
- Defines and understands customer needs and transcribes them internally
- Is the company’s interface with the customer on commercial matters in connection with the execution of sales/services or contract negotiations
- Is responsible of the leadtime of company’s answers to changes/claims and other commercial requests raised by customers
- Define budget for the region
- Engage customer on commercial talks
- Ensures that all product deliveries and/or performed services are invoiced
- Establishes the services sales prices when escalation is applied - Is a major player in the collection of invoices issued
Additional description
Interfaces with the Legal Department for any questions regarding changes or establishment of new business (Service Contracts). In general, this position is a key interface between the local teams and the various company departments in France involved in the construction, negotiation and finalization of offers and contracts. As a real driver, you know how to mobilize around a project.
Specifics of the position
This position with a high business development at stakes involves frequent travel in the South East Asia region.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree with more than 5-10 years of experience. This position requires a profile with strong interpersonal skills and experience in the South East Asia region. Very good communicator, you are very familiar with customer relationship and especially the world of airlines. A technical background and rapid adaptation to the product (Nacelles) is expected as well as a demonstrated experience in the sale of Services. Team player and leader you already have a first experience in a multi-cultural environment. Persuasiveness and negotiation will be real assets for this position.
