Responsibilities

• Programme Coordination: Coordinate events and engagements that facilitate meaningful interactions and dialogue between volunteers and senior participants.
• Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organisations, schools, and other stakeholders, recognising them as key collaborators in the development and execution of the FM’s community programmes.
• Operations Management: Work with appointed Event Management Company to manage the complex scheduling requirements for the programme – ensuring the successful assignment of suitable volunteers to event timeslots. To also manage all logistical matters to ensure programme effectiveness.
• Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of the programme, gather feedback from stakeholders, and prepare reports to assess the impact and success of the initiative. When required, to be on-site at the programme venue to evaluate performance of
• facilitators and volunteers, and implement suitable interventions should programme quality fall short.
• Budget Management: Monitor and track budget utilisation of assigned programmes and prepare reports for proper accountability of funds and resources.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree
• Preferably 1 year experience in community programming, event management, or cultural outreach, preferably in a museum, garden or exhibition setting, with a demonstrated focus on interactions that cater to a diverse range of audience profile
• An interest in local history, particularly that of the pre- and post- Independence decades and/or experience with culture/heritage/arts sector-related work is preferred, though not mandatory
• May required to work during weekend / after work hours - support event etc

• Spearhead market research projects, leveraging a variety of data sources—both internal and external—to gather comprehensive market intelligence.
• Identify and monitor key market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs within the ASEAN and ANZ regions.
• Clean and analyze collected data, transforming it into actionable insights that inform business strategies.
• Perform macro-level and industry-specific analysis to assess market potential, growth opportunities, and potential risks in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and technology.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations on market trends, competitive landscapes, and strategic opportunities for senior management and stakeholders in Japan.
• Collaborate with the HQ to align findings with global business goals, offering tailored recommendations based on local market nuances.
• Explore new business opportunities through targeted research, evaluating potential for emerging technologies and solutions.
• Build and maintain partnerships with industry bodies, government agencies, and research institutions to enhance the company’s market positioning and access to key data.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that market insights are effectively integrated into operational strategies and customer engagement efforts.

Skills and experience required

• Demonstrated expertise in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation, with a strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Experience in conducting market research projects independently, including identifying data sources, managing data quality, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including in Business level Japanese or JLPT 1/ JLPT 2 level , with the ability to influence decision-making at senior management levels who are based in their Global HQ in Japan
