Job Description & Requirements

• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project, which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delay, bad weather or emergencies at construction site.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities in resolving site issues.
• Effectively applies safe and economical methodology enforces project standards.

Requirement:

• Candidate must have recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years' construction experience in project/site management in construction industry
• Work as Team leader, leading team on project requirements and target achievement
• Completed relevant safety courses required by MOM
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit

1. Manage and control daily work activities at Mechanical and Electrical project sites of Fusion Engineering & Services Pte Ltd at various locations in Singapore (Construction and plant maintenance work). Applicant should be well versed in reviewing contract documents and submitting quotations with a proactive approach

2. Applicant shall implement safe work practices at the job site to work towards Zero LTI

3. Applicant should have sound experience in managing manpower and execution of project sites

4. To work closely with the owner, client, sub-vendors, main contractors, and suppliers

5. Manage and Execute the project activities including Quality to ensure that the project is completed according to the planned schedule

6. The Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the project execution is according to the project Safety and quality requirements

7. To maintain project documentation at all phases of construction

Purpose: To manage an Accounts Payable team of six, work on process improvements in the Finance and Accounting department and improve internal control processes. Analyze project profitability and identify variances to work on sales margin improvements. Audit of travel claims, handle month-end reporting, external audit, IRAS’ GST and income tax computation and ad-hoc financial analysis and respond to the Department Of Statistics.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Check on sales margins’ variances and drive improvements.
• Spearhead process improvements and continuously review and improve internal control processes.
• Prepare month-end reports.
• Audit overseas travel claims
• Manage external audits and review audit reports.
• Review corporate tax computation and respond to IRAS’ queries.
• Prepare quarterly GST reports for submission to IRAS.
• Support and participate in the company's continuous improvement program.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis e.g. for submission of government sector survey form.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Degree In Accountancy or Diploma in Accountancy with professional certification like ACCA certification
• Min 8 years of experience as a finance professional.
• Must have experience in the manufacturing industry and product costing knowledge.
• Detailed, meticulous, and able to work with a tight timeline.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
