What You’ll Do

• Advise, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (including commercial contracts, service agreements, marketing agreements, joint venture agreements and NDAs).
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Protecting utu’s intellectual property.
• Provide legal support for fundraising activities.
• Assist on the legal side of M&A transactions.
• Advise on regulatory matters including employment laws, personal data protection laws, payment services, medical/health laws and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive research on various legal and regulatory issues.
• Provide legal advice for the company’s operations in various jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external counsel, both domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Experiences & Skills

• Law degree required (LLB/JD or equivalent).
• Called to the Singapore Bar or any Commonwealth country’s Bar.
• At least 4 years of experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel.

Summary

This position is responsible in ensuring a safe environment for the hotel employees and guests, and safeguards the assets of the hotel. The Security Manager assists the Management, employees and guests in every way that is consistent with the protection and prevention objectives.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare monthly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance and assist in planning work schedules.

· Maintain a Hotel logbook on incidents, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action.

· Handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, and guests of the Hotel.

· Be proactive in guests’ requests and anticipate Safety needs according to Singapore’s events.

· Maintain a high level of controlling details within the guest areas.

· Conform to and enforce Security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as laid down by ACCOR and the hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.

· Prepare the annual capital and operating budgets for the Department.

· Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified.

· Be fully familiar of the Emergency Procedures, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as established by the Hotel.

· Assist in safety and emergency training for all employees.

· Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.

· Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.

· Ensure all staff within the department work in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others.

· Use safe manual handling techniques and practise safe work habits following Accor Health, Safety and Environment policies, maintain procedures to minimise our impact on the environment and prevent pollution.

· Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager.

Qualifications / Requirements

· Possess certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting.

· Possess Fire Safety Manager certificate advantageous but not compulsory.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

· Service oriented with an eye for detail.

· Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to provide maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction.

· Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to remain calm and react fast to situations.

Responsibilities:

• Financial accounting and bookkeeping
• Handle day-to-day financial operations within the company & group (payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other transactions)
• Record accounts payable and staff claims and process payment
• Follow up on accounts receivable collections.
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions and perform timely reconciliations.
• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements (eg. GST submission).
• Liaise with various internal parties such as key account managers and external parties such as bankers, suppliers, sub-contractors and auditors.
• Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
• Review consolidation package done by subsidiary companies and report to HQ.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ideally 5 years of relevant working experience in handing full sets of accounts. Prior experience in project accounting will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Willing to coach and support other team members.
• Meticulous with attention to details and have good organizational skills.
