We're looking for a Conference Producer (we call them a Conference Manager) to join our team to produce two exciting events for 2025. You should have a minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Conference Producer (or similar) to apply for this role.

We run them across a variety of subject areas: Telecoms, solar & energy, hospitality, education, finance, rail, roads, mobility and more. Attendance at our events tends to be between 1,000 – 15,000 people.

Our Conference Managers curate the content of our events and secure the best speakers in the business.

You'll be be reading a lot, identifying trends and finding innovative leaders in the space your event covers. Then you’ll be inviting them to speak, so natural networkers and persuasive people, offline and online, are highly successful. And then you’ll be managing the content delivery at the event and seeing your hard work in action!

When you start out, you may know very little about your event sector. That's no problem! As part of this process you’ll become an “expert”, you’ll become highly connected and well respected in the industry. You’ll be on first name terms with the C-Suite of many of the region's leading players in your event space. And all in a very short time frame. Don’t panic, you’ll be supported, trained and guided through the whole process - the whole team is working towards the success of the event.

Job Description

· Report to the Operation Manager

· Lead / supervise a group of teams which maintain all related fire systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted services to site

· Oversee and responsible for team operations for the respective sites in the contract, must obtain a complete understanding of all customers’ contractual agreements to drive the fulfilment of requests and services.

· Manage and plan team operations, operations budget and costing

· Manage and plan all related preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with the safe practices as defined in the Singapore Standard and / or authority requirement and guidelines.

Requirements

· Min Diploma in Engineering or Construction related field
Building Construction Safety Supervisor or equivalent trained

· Min 5-7 years of relevant experience in Fire Operation supports and maintenance on fire safety system.

· Understanding of local regulations and standards on Facilities operations and maintenance.

· Must be well versed and experienced with good technical competency in fire protection services.

A Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and closing of various integration projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. The Project Manager will use his/her experience to execute phase-1 studies that will lead to phase-2 implementation work, develop engineering standards and design methodologies for use within RoviSys Asia and act as a primary point of contact for any commercial issues involving a project that he/she is acting as the Project Manager. In between project deployment, the Project Manager will also assist with new project estimating and systems engineering and pursue new and repeated business actively.

Description of Work:

Team Leadership

· Provide technical and non-technical assistance to project team.

· Serves as point of contact for customers and trades.

Project Acceptance Test Methodology

· Understanding of customer demonstrations and acceptance testing.

Project Management

· Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks, particularly those related to MES and OT systems.

· Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and escalate issues when necessary.

Job Knowledge:

· Demonstrates the ability to communicate the type of work that RoviSys performs to outside individuals and organizations.

· At least 3 years of project experiences in specific industries, such as Semi-con, SMT, PCBA, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chem, etc.

· Applies knowledge and expertise acquired through experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique situations.

· Ability to develop quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality through the project lifecycle.

· Develops engineering standards that help streamline engineering processes as well as increase the efficiency/effectiveness of project execution.

· At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in MES, software projects or OT systems integration projects.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus.

· Experience in Agile Methodology or Scrum is a plus.

· Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).

· Good understanding of OT systems, including Data Historian, SCADA, PLCs, and DCS.

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide day-to-day leadership and management to Msia and Singapore HR and Admin teams.

· Foster a performance-based, success-oriented, accountable environment within the HR and Admin teams

· Monitor and track all recruitment efforts in Msia and Singapore for updates to Senior Management. Spearhead linkups with relevant institutes to facilitate recruitment of alumni or internship/Work-Study study program arrangements. Function as the main point of contact with recruitment agencies for employment of workers.

· Function as the main point of contact for any formal interaction with government bodies, e.g., represent the Group’s subsidiaries for MOM inquiries or investigations, if necessary.

· Supervise Admin teams to ensure the event calendar runs smoothly and on time. Supervise, guide, and assist Admin teams for more complex projects such as rental/purchase of office premises.

· Foster smooth working relationships between HR & Admin teams and the various Businesses and Departments within Nordic Group. Act as liaison between teams wherever necessary.

· Understand organizational strategic objectives and be able to articulate these into measurable initiatives, and processes and communicate these effectively to ensure clarity, understanding, and internalization across the organization.

· Independently liaise with vendors for initiatives for the benefit of the Group, put up concise and detailed summaries and recommendations for the CFO and Executive Chairman’s decision.
