The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. • Oversee the end-to-end management of the accelerator program in the region, ensuring alignment with the program in Paris and Montreal

(v) Cash Flow & Financial Planning:

Create portfolio-level cash flow forecasts, accounting for schedules, material purchases, and labour costs. Monitor expenditures against budgets, adjust plans as necessary, and provide financial updates to the Management Team, highlighting risks. Develop contingency strategies to manage cost overruns effectively.

(vi) Risk Identification & Mitigation:

Identify and monitor portfolio-level risks, such as resource shortages, supply chain and logistics issues and regulatory challenges, and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies and contingency plans. This position is essential to overseeing the deployment of XSGD and XUSD on various blockchain networks and expanding cross-border payment solutions. You will help shape the future of stablecoin transfers and blockchain infrastructure at StraitsX.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain the stablecoin payments team’s product roadmap;
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for deploying StraitsX stablecoins natively to different blockchains;
• Develop and enhance products that facilitate seamless cross-border stablecoin payments;
• Design and optimise payment flows to ensure seamless and user-friendly transactions for fiat and stablecoin transfers;
• Manage and oversee integrations with digital asset custodians to ensure secure storage and handling of digital assets;
• Collaborate with engineering and blockchain infrastructure teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable stablecoin transfer solutions;
• Work closely with compliance, engineering, compliance, and business development teams to support product launches, enhancements, and cost optimizations;
• Stay informed on blockchain trends, token standards, and industry advancements to align product strategies with market demands;
• Engage with users and gather feedback to refine and improve product offerings that meet customer and market needs;
• Establish and track key success metrics for stablecoin deployment and performance. Regularly analyse these metrics to identify trends, measure product effectiveness, and guide strategic decisions.

· Provides subject matter expert guidance on emergency preparedness

· Develops, implements, and continually improves procedures, processes, and tools for effective emergency response throughout the Organization

· Promotes awareness of emergency preparedness, emergency response and business continuity

· Engages with all areas of BW Offshore to ensure that emergencies are properly understood and that response plans are adequately implemented

· Actively seeks out good practices which could provide improvements to emergency preparedness outcomes

· Functions as the primary point of contact for Crisis Management tools, training, drills, and exercises at Tiers 2 and 3

· Performs verification of OI Management Standard requirements

· Provides expert advice in Level 3 Incident Assessments related to Emergency Preparedness

· Monitors and analyzes outcomes of trainings, drills and exercise reports for adequacy and accuracy

Profile description

We are looking for Senior Vessel Manager for a position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Vessel Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of bulk carrier and Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day-to-day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise drydockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• To monitor and control spare parts supply to the vessels. You will judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.
• You will attend vessels at port and/or short sailing on scheduled visits and prepare vessel inspection reports. You need to drive safe work culture and inspire the shipboard team.
• To objectively analyze and report on performance of shipboard personnel.
• Coordinate with Operations, QHSE and Fleet Personnel department in smooth & efficient operation of assigned vessels.
• Any other assignments as needed.

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency and more than 3 years of shore experience in Technical management.
• Experience on Bulk and Gas Carriers is desirable.
• You should have a strong focus on cargo handling equipment & knowledge of cargo gear maintenance requirement.
• Good leadership qualities & strong commitment to safety/compliance procedures are essentially needed in our organization.
• You should be professionally sound, highly motivated and a good team player.
• Good proficiency in English communication required.
• You will be stationed in Singapore and travelling to attend ships.
