Job Summary

This role has a direct reporting line to the CFO. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all Business Units (BU) on all finance-related matters, including financial analysis, cost modeling, preparation and review of monthly and annual accounts, annual budgets and forecasts. The Finance Manager shall ensure that the accounting records for all entities are consistently in good and proper order for annual audit and statutory reporting purposes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, annual, and quarterly management and financial reports on a timely basis

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Strategic Account Sales with a passion for bringing new logos and join our growing Sales team.

As a Strategic Account Sales, you will report directly to the North America VP Sales and you will be responsible for new business development across our target markets, focusing on growing our customer base for Stata Communications Compliance suite of solutions.

The opportunity

New business development across financial services companies both on the buy-side, and sell-side.

Seek out and start to build relationships with the appropriate contacts in these target markets.

Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers either through your network, via online sources, or act upon qualified leads that come in via partners.

Conduct meetings with potential customers and be an ambassador for Stata.

Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these requirements.

Have solid negotiation skills in order to give a steer on pricing and help draw up client contracts and legal documents with support from the wider team.

Be confident in doing a demo of our platform and ensuring the right people are on hand to answer more specific technical questions.

Help to plan and support sales campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing team.

Experience and skills

Have sound knowledge and experience within financial services and/or archiving/surveillance. Understanding of capital markets.

Entrepreneurial spirit with at least 5+ years of proven success in a quota carrying client facing sales role.

Relevant Academic degree.

Prior experience and knowledge of financial services regulations or regulatory technology are ideal but not essential.

Ability to manage a technically complex sales process involving a multitude of stakeholders.

Some experience of SaaS and cloud technologies – preferred.

Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and ability to quickly become an SME on Stata unique platform and capabilities.

A sense of assertiveness and directness. Ability to think longer-term coupled with fast execution of short-term priorities.

A sense of humor and humility. Ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization and partner effectively with clients externally.

Job Scope:

• Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within a market segment by effectively selling the company products.
• Promotes and secures orders from existing and potential customers through a relationship-based approach

This role focuses on securing new customers, maintaining revenue from existing accounts, and balancing new business development (50%) with account management (50%). Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, delivering tailored logistics solutions, managing cross-trade business, and supporting network shipments. Key tasks involve preparing quotations, RFQs, SOPs, and maintaining strong carrier relationships. Collaboration with Customer Service and Operations ensures smooth execution, while regular reporting to the Managing Director and Sales Manager keeps management updated on progress and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or in a discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
• More than 5 years Sales experience in 3rd Party Logistics & distribution and / or Freight forwarding / or warehousing.
• Experience with a good sense of hunting in developing new sales opportunities or having the experience in Key Account Management.
• Ability to understand customers’ expectations and make value proposition to customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support : Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
2. Maintain organized records and documentation.
3. Communication: Answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and facilitating communication with clients
4. Purchasing and Customer Liaison: Handle purchasing tasks and coordinate with suppliers and customers & Production. Ensure timely follow-ups and smooth communication.
5. Order Processing and General Duties: Process delivery orders, invoices, and related documents. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum ITE or Diploma qualification.
• Training: On-the-job training provided.
