Responsibilities:

• Managing the service desk team
• Awareness of end user needs and changing requirements

Requirement:

• Articulating high level business requirements to senior management

AML Compliance Function

· Primary responsibility of the AML related frameworks of the Branch

· Authorisation to accord requisite and relevant approvals for customer on-boarding, ongoing due diligence and transaction level approvals as material risk personnel (MRP) by delegation

· Performance of Compliance reviews and testing on various AML/CFT activities

· Reviewing of Policy, Manual, Product And Process notes relevant to AML/CFT

· Follow-up with business and/or operations group on outstanding Audit/Compliance testing issues

· Involve the AML relevant systems UAT, enhancements and annual review

· Prepare EWRA exercise and methodology review

· Oversight on compliance related outsourced activities to Head Office, Compliance team as MRP

· Conduct periodic AML/CFT training within branch

Regulatory Compliance (Non AML)

· Conduct gap and impact analysis and assistance to implementation of new regulations and regulatory requirements

· Submission of the above review to head office and for internal update is to be done in a timely manner

· Handle follow up on the implementation of recommendations by various departments from Regulatory Inspection or reviews, Statutory audits, Independent Audit, Internal Audit

· Review of credit proposals from compliance perspective for all new and existing credit relationship of corporate banking Group

· Pre-trade clearance and submission of statement under the Personal Account Dealing framework of the Bank and carrying out periodic compliance review and testing. Review of Personal Account Dealing framework from time to time.

· Performance of compliance reviews and testing on various activities as per approved testing plan in BA, SFA and FAA

· Performance branch wise Compliance risk assessment

· Reviewing of Policy, Manual, Product and Process notes from regulatory compliance respective.

· Communication with the regulator under the delegation as MRP

· To undertake projects and assignments from time to time as directed by the HOD (e.g. CRAFT yearly audit, Independent audit, external audit, supervisory visits.)

· Organize and conduct periodic compliance trainings (e.g. fair dealing with customers, personal account dealing, SFA/FAA, individual accountability etc.)

Reporting

· Lead a team and prepare of reports (e.g.: monthly compliance report, Singapore Compliance and Audit Committee report/presentation and quarterly compliance certification) for onward submission to HO.

· Preparation and submission regular regulatory reports/survey under compliance team to the regulators

· Ad hoc projects given by department head

Back-up Role-Bank’s Data Protection Officer

· Contribution to the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations to keep them updated.

· To advise business groups and other support/control groups for compliance of the data protection policy and conduct required trainings

· Identification and mitigation of data protection risks in relation to technology, outsourcing, marketing programmes.

· Be the nominated data protection officer of the Bank, coordination with the governmental and regulatory authorities in relation to the activities under the data protection laws and regulations as well as handling and leading on the resolution of complaints from the public and staff in relation to the data protection.

· Provide the data protection trainings within branch

Requirements

· Good understanding of compliance practices, guidelines and regulations in the banking industry

· Good understanding of compliance practices in BA/ SFA/ FAA and local regulations

· Good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills with attention to detail

The position

Manager, Investment will have the opportunity to work directly with directors and senior management acquiring hands-on experience across the value creation process. They will be involved in the full cycle of investment and asset management including site acquisition, underwriting and due diligence, asset management and divestment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Deal Origination

• Sourcing and evaluating of new business cases which includes but not limited to Green/brown field acquisition or development, Divestment, Asset Enhancement, Joint Venture opportunities.
• Research and understand and penetrate into new markets or product type
• Work collaboratively across departments and functions for technical and financial feasibility studies

Business Case Proposal

• Prepare and underwrite business case upon understanding of market and real estate parameters of the deal, building financial models and providing relevant supporting information to justify the case.
• Deal structuring including incorporating discussion from stakeholders like joint venture partners, banks, tax, finance and treasury.
• Recommend parameters in investments to manage risks and generate acceptable rate of return.
• Crafting teasers, investment papers for approval to stakeholders

Deal Execution

• Negotiation and discussion on contract execution
• Liaise with legal, financial, tax and technical consultants
• Oversee financial and technical due diligence.

Asset and fund performance management

• Track and monitor fund performance with regards to original business case
• Preparation and presentation of fund reports and variance analysis
• Proactively suggest asset enhancement initiatives and strategic value creation initiatives (including refinancing, divestment or operational enhancement)
• Evaluation of new pipelines in impact to portfolio

Compliance & Governance:

• Partner with various compliance authorities and stakeholders ensure that at times that the compliance & governance requirements per company and statutory requirements are always adhered to.

To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:

Knowledge/Experience

• Solid understanding of financial investment evaluation and capital decision making in the Industrial or logistics real estate industry
• Commercially sound – understanding and ability to identify business risks. Balance between risk and reward.
• Financial modelling, due diligence & post integration experience.
• Knowledge of Asia real estate market including properties, rents, cost structures etc.

This is a key leadership position, you will be responsible for managing end to end strategic procurement functionality in driving cost savings opportunity that helps create long term value with key suppliers in the region.

Additional Responsibilities:

Policy & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Procurement policies and guidelines at the local level, aligning with regional and global directives.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance and Compliance departments to monitor Procure-to-Pay process compliance with corporate standards.
