The position of Account Manager in the sales team of Modern Link is responsible for expanding business and re-ignite the local retail scene.

Responsibilities

• Engage existing & new customers to expand business opportunities in Singapore retail scene.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiating with suppliers/vendors on pricing and contractual terms for Provisions/ Bonded products.
• Plan & Propose monthly sales & marketing campaigns/events across various sales channels to achieve omnichannel efficiency
• Align brands’ marketing goals and to be communicated effectively across various offline sales channel
• Listing company brands’ products into existing customer database. (Offline & Online)
• Prepare required sales quotation and follow up on any corporate sales enquires
• Develop a strong relationship with existing suppliers/vendors
• Ensure effective communication internally to achieve individual brand’s marketing directions
• Ensure all activities are carried out and comply according to the company’s regulations.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years sales experience
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Takes Initiative, Results Driven and Detailed Orientated
• Proactive & resourceful in looking for sales
• Preferably bilingual in English and Mandarin

• Apply sales targets to guide sales performance.
• Build relationships with sales networks and leads to support sales.
• Carry out relationship management programmes with buyers.
• Gather information to be included in sales proposals.
• Identify trades that create value for buyers.
• Monitor competitors and customer demand to provide data for sales strategy development.
• Perform follow-up actions to close sales.
• Provide solutions that meet buyers' technical requirements.
• Relay feedback from buyers to improve sales targets.
• Review technical requirements or non-standard buyer requests.
• Understand buyers' overall business cycle to identify buyers' current and future business needs.
• Work with others to increase the number of potential buyers
• Perform administrative duties as required

Job Scope:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects.
• Identify customer needs and provide technical solutions that align with product offerings.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers during the sales process.
• Prepare and deliver detailed product proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Drive sales growth through direct sales activities and follow-ups.
• Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
• Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services.
• Track and report on sales performance, targets, and project progress.
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing strategies, and technical standards.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and sales tools.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, Industrial, or Mechatronics
• No experience required, entry-level candidates welcome
• Passion for automation, creative and adaptive approach
• Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly
• Product training provided
• Knowledge of PLC programming, touch panels, control, and automation
