Objectives of this role

Requirements:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant Manager to support the Finance Manager in managing and overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an advantage in liaising with stakeholders effectively, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision.

Job responsibitlies

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with standards and local regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in drafting and monitoring budgets, forecasting cash flows, and managing funding needs.
• Taxation & Audit: Ensure timely tax filings (e.g., GST) and coordinate with auditors for successful audits.
• Accounts Management: Oversee billing, collections, accounts payable, and maintain accurate aging reports.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and coordinate with departments for efficient financial operations.
• Perform hands-on management of daily finance and accounting activities (AR/AP, P&L, balance sheets, GST submissions).

Support the Finance Manager in:

• Preparing and reporting quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Reviewing financial statements of group companies.
• Preparing for financial closings and audits.
• Developing and reviewing annual budgets.
• Managing cash flows for group companies.
• Review and approve daily payment transactions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.

Job requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
