Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Strategic Business Development and Market Expansion
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth within the Non-Ferrous Metals sector, focusing on both existing markets and new opportunities.
- Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and market expansions.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market demands to identify opportunities for product and service innovation, market entry, and expansion.
- Lead efforts to expands the company’s market presence by identifying high-potential regions, sectors, and customer bases for Non-Ferrous Metals products.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners, including large industrial clients, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Manage client accounts and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities to increase revenue from existing customers.
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Drive sales growth by leading the sales efforts for Non-Ferrous Metal products and services, working closely with the sales and marketing teams.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to tailor offerings to meet customer needs and increase market share.
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiation tactics to secure profitable contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Partnerships and Negotiations
- Lead contract negotiations with customes, suppliers, and partners to ensure favorable terms, compliance with reglations, and long-term business success.
- Cultivate strategic alliances with suppliers, technology providers, and other stakeholders to enhance the company’s capabilities in the aluminum industry.
- Negotiate key agreements related to supply chain management, distribution, and joint ventures.
Project Identification and Feasibility Analsis
- Identify and evaluate new Non-Ferrous Metals related projects, including product innovations, market diversification, or expansion into new industries (e.g. automotive, aerospace, construction).
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis for new projects and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Develop business cases and investment proposals to secure internal approval and external funding for new initiatives.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the aluminum market.
- Monitor competitor activites and assess their strategies to ensure the company remains competitive in pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Analyze demand fluctuations, supply chain dynamics, and potential risks in the aluminum market to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
Sustainability and Innovation Initiatives
- Advocate for sustainable business practices and green technologies within the Non-Ferrous Metals industry, ensuring the company’s products and operations meet environmental standards.
- Identify new poduct development opportunities, including lightweight aluminum, recycled aluminum, and solutions for green energy sectors.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and innovations in the aluminum industry, such as automation, aluminum recycling, and energy-efficient processes, and integrate them into the company’s growth strategy.
Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and corporate departments, to exeute business development strategies.
- Provide leadership in driving a high performance culture, fostering innovation, and ensuring team accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree is preferred but not essential.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably in the Non-Ferrous Metals sector.
- Strong ability to analyze market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and development business cases.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and forming strategic partneships.
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, collaborating across departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess good understanding of sustainability trends in the aluminum industry and a commitment to green initiatives.
- Experience working with global teams and possess good understanding of regional market dynamics and customer behavior in different geographic areas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and evolving industry.
- Ability to travel as needed to explore new markets, meet clients, and attend industry events.
