We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and technical understanding of cable solutions. This role involves driving sales growth, building strategic client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cable market, including renewable energy, telecom, and offshore projects.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and consultants.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and threats.
· Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients.
· Collaborate with technical teams to understand product specifications and ensure solutions meet client requirements.
· Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely project execution.
· Provide accurate sales forecasts and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
· Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
· Address client inquiries and resolve issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
· Min Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
· Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development in the submarine cables, renewable energy, or telecom industry.
· Strong understanding of cable systems and related applications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.
· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
