Join the Qantas Team as Manager, People – Asia, where you will lead and implement strategic People and Culture initiatives across the region. In this key role, you will provide expert guidance, facilitation and delivery in areas such as employee relations, employment law, talent management, compensation, collective agreements, and organisational development. As a critical business partner, you will collaborate with Qantas’ various business units within Asia to drive growth, development, and employee engagement through well-crafted people programs and procedures.
Your success in this role will rely on strong collaboration with the broader Sales & Offshore People team, People Services, and centres of excellence. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring regional business leaders, providing support in managing their teams effectively. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact within Qantas, helping to shape the future of the workforce across Asia through innovation, leadership, and strategic initiatives.
You’ll have –
- 10+ years relevant experience in People and Culture, with at least 2 years in a People and Culture leadership position
- Degree qualification within Commerce/HR
- Demonstrated experience in strategically partnering with business units in large organisations.
- Proven track record in managing change and enhancing organisational capabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and adept at building lasting relationships.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business language.
