1. Summary of the role

6. Geography to cover and travel requirements

· The SE position is a local geographic position.

· Travel requirements (including overnight travel) will be approximately 50% of work time. Travel will include local, national and international requirements for customer visits, business meetings, and trainings.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the operation manager on daily sales and order processing as well as to work closely with the operation manager on all project and/or budgetary enquiries
• Ensures that all urgent correspondence and enquiries to be carried out efficiently and report to operation manager if and when necessary
• You are also responsible to resolve minor issues of a non-technical nature and to report major issues to operation manager for a solution
• Compile an updated file for pricing from local and overseas vendors for submission to the operation on a monthly basis

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for day-to-day sales operation including preparing of sales enquiries up to execution of order
• Good filing system in hard and soft copies for all enquiries up to completion of order
• Preparation of enquiries from cost sheet to recommendation for purchase of project enquiries
• To identify new supply source to add to company’s supplier’s database
• Ad-hoc data entry

Work location: Tuas

Responsibilities:

• Develop the project business locally and identify and directly target architects and developers for projects.
• Support local distributors with pricing, catalogues and project specification support.
• Achieve annual sales targets and assist in tender for projects
• Assist with market research or other local activities related to market and business development and sales growth.
• Promote brand awareness, identify prospective clients, and expand the clientele base for the company with focus on the construction sector.
• Take ownership and lead business development efforts in selected market segments.
• To execute plans and strategies set by General Manager and the company.
• Attend to sales enquiries and prepare quotations.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree in Marketing / Business or any relevant discipline
• Possess min 3 to 5 years experience in sales or marketing with good track records in working with developers, architectural and designer firms.
• Goals driven and hands-on in executing key measures
• High level of reliability and personal integrity
• Experience in the sanitary fittings industry will be an added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Able to prepare product sales forecasts, market report and analyses
• Develop and execute effective sales strategy to meet or exceed sales target
• Actively identifying consultants and key customers with our product solutions
• Conduct sales presentation to showcase the features and benefits of our product
• Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for both customer and the company.

Requirements and skills:

• Diploma/Degree in IT/Electronics Engineering or related field
• Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Has good product knowledge in Access Control
• Proficiency in MS Office, preparing and delivering Power point presentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with potential clients effectively
• Strong negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets
• Self-motivated and able to work independently demonstrating a high level of initiative and drive
