Senior Marketing Specialist (Planning and Operations) (Singapore)
As a senior marketing specialist, you will be critical support for our team across our Strategy and Operation function in APAC. The team provides business insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships, operational efficiencies, and new initiatives forward. The team stays focused on aligning the highest level of the client's priorities with strong day-to-day operations and helps evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
You will assist projects and work teams that positively impact our clients' operational efficiencies. You are highly experienced at solving ambiguous issues, collaborating with different work streams to improve processes, driving efficiency around different ways of working, and aiding the marketing team in focusing on their core work.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and support strategic and operational projects and initiatives for the team.
- Assist in business analysis to support crucial marketing investment decisions.
- Assist in annual and quarterly planning, including budget and headcount processes; identify and develop key operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee internal communications (e.g. internal update newsletters). Craft compelling industry narratives to influence external stakeholders.
- Constantly find opportunities to streamline, connect and simplify approvals, create best practices and share learnings.
- Share learnings and best practices from various initiatives and syndicate across functions
- Provide critical inputs to set Marketing’s annual strategic plan globally, articulating our team's most critical strategic priorities and corresponding investment.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a management consultancy, marketing agency or technology company covering strategy, operations or marketing strategy. Previous experience as a programme manager, strategy manager, or operations lead is desirable.
- Ability to translate complex data into simple and intuitive communications; balance deep analytical rigour with actionable insights
- Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills and strong business judgment.
- Project management experience is a must for this role. Live and breathe Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical capabilities, a knack for solving challenging problems,
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with employees of all levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
