About the role

This role contacts assigned / agreed customers or prospects to sell company Alcona Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) range of products and services within South East Asia. Focuses on meeting assigned sales budget, new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Has solid knowledge of AMOS products and services across AMOS’ 4 pillars, characteristics and market(s), benefits, value and potential. Uses excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience to drive customer commitment and revenue growth at the right margin.

Main responsibilities

Sales Management

• Owning and achieving annual sales budgets within assigned product sector and/or accounts.
• Ensure adherence to global sales policies, processes, and guidelines.

• To drive profitable sales growth for the allocated customers across all sectors of responsibility.

• Focus on selling value-added solutions and managing customer contracting, compliance checks, and agreement renewals.
• Review sales pipeline, top-line revenue, and margin performance, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Review and manage customer credit and payment in close cooperation with AMOS’ Account Receivables team.

Sales Planning & Review

• Attend regular review meetings with Head Of Sales (HOS).
• Review account pipeline (including RFQ’s), activities and performance using Salesforce (CRM).
• Review new opportunities, new business, loss business and new competition on a regular basis and take corrective actions, where applicable.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly customer business reviews, ensuring well-prepared meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Support HOS in ensuring minutes from Strategic Reviews are distributed to all relevant stakeholders and corrective actions are followed up.
• Escalate concerns or complaints to the HOS timely.

Opportunity Management

• Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent AMOS at events, obtaining market intelligence and enhancing visibility.
• Adhere to company processes and procedures and utilizes the Salesforce and other tools to document customer interaction, needs, and business projections.
• Use Salesforce for documenting customer interactions, needs, and business projections, ensuring effective customer retention and business development.

Collaboration and Transparency

• Collaborate cohesively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Secure compliance with AMOS’ sales governance

Requirements

• Min. 5 years experience in business development and managing sales

Nanyang Business School is seeking a full-time Research Associate to work with Professor Sharon Ng in the Division of Marketing. The candidate is expected to assist Prof Ng with on-going research projects, and to work on projects of their own interest. In particular, we seek candidates with interest in understanding how people respond to new technology (e.g., robotics, AR, AI). We are also interested in candidates who may want to explore the intersection of culture and technology. One core aspect of this role will be to help the faculty to design and conduct experiments. The candidate will be included as an author/co-author on publications from the projects.

Job Requirements:

• Master degree in Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, or related social science discipline. Prior work (including but not limited to dissertation) must involve statistical analyses of survey and experimental data.
• Excellent academic record and work ethic required.
• Excellent written skill is required. The candidate should be able to write a research paper well.
• Enthusiasm for research required.
• Working knowledge of SPSS is necessary. Knowledge of other statistical tool is a plus.
• Prior publication in marketing peer review journals is a plus

Job Scope:

Trade Marketing Support:

• Assist the Marketing Director in planning and executing campaigns to promote third-party brands in retail supermarkets
• Coordinate marketing activities and promotional events for third-party brand partners
• Develop advertising materials for point-of-sale (POS) displays, digital, and social media platforms
• Aid in creating sales support materials and organizing in-store promotions

Retail Marketing for Offline Retail Shop and Online E-shop:

• Support the Marketing Director in executing local store marketing strategies, weekly promotions, and activities to boost foot traffic and sales at the Retail Shop and online store, aiming to meet sales targets
• Plan weekly promotions for the Retail Shop and online store, including product selection and pricing strategies
• Assist in managing retail merchandising to ensure optimal product displays and enhance sales

Marketing Apps Maintenance:

• Help the marketing team maintain and update mobile apps and optimize platform performance
• Monitor and resolve app performance issues to ensure smooth functionality
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve user interfaces and overall user experience

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Responsible for the brand development work of the catering brands.
• Develop marketing strategies and plans, advertising, promotions, creative projects, media relations, sponsorships and event management.
• Develop revenue and profit growth strategies for the business and take charge of the tactical execution of the brands’ marketing communication initiatives in support of the business strategy, market goals, and organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Willing to roll up sleeves and work on the ground to ensure the success of all projects delivery
• Highly creative with experience in creating content and digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Proactive with a strong sense of accountability and a day-to-day focus on results.
