Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sales and marketing activities for medical products from raising purchase order to performing demonstration of equipment operation
• Work with Business Unit Head to develop and execute sales strategy to build and maintain a robust sales order, achieve sales, and gross profit targets
• Interact extensively with all existing and potential customers in identifying customer needs
• Attend to sales enquiries, quotations, tender bids, securing orders, arranging equipment delivery and other duties relating to sales transaction
• Plan and organise work to ensure timely follow up of leads and provide accurate responses to all customer inquiries
• Work closely with in-house technical team and admin support to provide pre- and post-sales support
• Work with admin support to ensure timely replenishment of consumable stock and no stock-out issue
• Comply with the company’s Safe work procedures at all times

Competence (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Understanding and knowledge of the Singapore healthcare sector and its operating environment
• Knowledge on the ISO 13485 Quality Manual and relevant Standard Operating Procedures
• Understanding and knowledge of GeBIZ (government tender) and private tender processes and requirements
• Skills in preparation of materials and presenting in small group settings (user demo and training, customer presentation)
• Skills in negotiation with customers, principals, and suppliers on requirements
• Skills in relating to and servicing the customers with a win-win mind set
• Skills in managing the sales process, including sales proposal, costings, negotiation and closing the sales

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Biomedical, Business or other related studies
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the Healthcare industry

About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive (Medical Device) to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our innovative medical devices to healthcare providers in the local market.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies to promote our medical device portfolio
• Building and managing relationships with key healthcare customers, such as hospitals and clinics
• Conducting product demonstrations and support cases in operating theatre
• Gathering market intelligence and identifying new sales opportunities
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns
• Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
• Providing after-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical sales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a science or healthcare-related field is preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, specifically with SMEs in Singapore.
• Strong portfolio of established industry contacts, leads, and prospects within the Singapore market.
• Manage lead generation, pre-sales, and business development activities to secure new business opportunities.
• Execute cold calls and presentations to decision-makers, promoting the company's products and services.
• Oversee current client accounts, focusing on retention and driving additional sales through cross-selling and up-selling.
• Provide compelling product demonstrations, leveraging expertise in business process management.
• Collaborate with the technical team to deliver tailored solutions and proof of concepts, based on customers’ unique business processes.
• Develop and maintain new revenue channels with external partners and parties.
• Take charge of multi-tasking marketing and communication activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in selling to SMEs in Singapore.
• Expertise in B2B digital marketing and campaign management.

• Background in software sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
