We’re currently looking for a Sales Development Representative in our team. You will drive Airwallex’s future growth engine to develop leads that will build Airwallex’s sales pipeline. You get excited about engaging with prospects to qualify needs better, thinking creatively and independently about outreach strategies. You are adept at identifying high-value opportunities and capable of managing early sales funnel activities. Finally, you enjoy building – you like to actively participate in the prospecting and sales process, the articulation of Airwallex’s value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets. This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability
• Move qualified leads through the buyer journey with the goal of booking product demonstrations
• Execute ‘plays’ or designed touch points in a customer journey through cold calls, emails, chat and social media
• Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs
• Effectively work through lead list meeting/exceeding SLAs, consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support weekly reporting efforts
• Inform and recommend outreach strategies and best practices by testing various touch points

POS Setting

- Regularly update the POS system to reflect new promotions, discounts, or product listings.

- Reconcile daily sales reports with the POS system

Stock Management

- Ensure timely restocking of promotional items

Staff Training

- Train staff to deeply understand the brand and products, enabling them to engage with customers naturally and effectively.

Daily Briefings

- Share important updates about promotions, new arrivals, or operational changes with the team at the start of the shift.

Store Events

- Develop and execute in-store promotions, discounts, or events that align with seasonal themes or special occasions, driving foot traffic and boosting sales.

- Design and execute store layouts and displays based on seasonal trends or upcoming events to enhance customer engagement.

- Bachelor’s degree in Retail, Business, Marketing, Management or a related field.

- Relevant experience in managing e-commerce platforms(Shopify) is preferred.

Job Description:

1. Support of the sales team in organizing and attending sales events

• Update of contacts & Customer relationship activity in Salesforce (a CRM system)
• Follow-up on clients inquiry (before sales and after sales)
• Preparing quotation/agreement and contract management
• Assist the BDM to maintain client relationship with existing clients by regular follow-up visits, Query & issue gathering
• Follow up with Clients on a regular basis for SOA, pending payments

Job Qualifications

1. Junior college or above
2. Major - Marine engineering, Shipping engineering/officer, Lab testing, chemistry / biological science
