• Acquire new customers in the Semicon, Life Science, Automation/Robotics, F&B, Metal Working and Packaging industry
• Manage and grow Key Accounts
• Responsible for major customers, drive revenue and profit
• Evaluate customer requests and propose appropriate solutions
• Identify new opportunities, drive new business development and work out solutions for the customer with the technical support team
• Drive & conduct Roadshow/Product Seminar/Technology Day regularly & Project management
• Update customers with new products launch
• Promote and Market products and solutions
• Ensure existing customers satisfaction, reorder and customer retention

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Controls or related fields
• At least 3 years relevant sales application experience
• Good English (spoken and written)
• Good product and application knowledge in Industrial Automation
• Good communication/Negotiation skill
• Customer orientated
• Versatile in utilizing CRM (preferably C4C - SAP Cloud for customer) and SAP system

Overview:

The incumbent will be based in Singapore but will need to travel to India as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales development, primarily responsible for liaising with clients in India
• Lead the projects undertaken by clients, from NPI (New Product Introduction) to MP (Mass Production), and meet client requirements.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors, market trends, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
• Lead negotiations with key clients and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve customer satisfaction.

• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
• Able to conduct B2B cold calls and conduct presentations

• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

-Must be able to work night shift and split shift

-Serves as the link between direct reports and middle / upper management.

-Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities, and human resource requirements and capabilities.

-Makes decisions on job assignments and work priorities

-Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and downtime.

-Responsible for equipment condition and department housekeeping

-Researches, complies and prepares reports, correspondence, and other information required by management, as well as, identifies and resolves report discrepancies or errors.

-Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment. Leads and supports direct reports to work in a safe manner and to seek improvements in work practices.

-Ensures that product quality and production efficiencies meet or exceed established standards.

-Examines procedures and recommends changes to save time, labor, and other costs and to improve quality control and operating efficiency.

-Observes direct reports to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

-Verifies completeness and accuracy of direct reports’ work, computations, and records.

-Participates in work of direct reports to facilitate productivity or overcome difficult aspects of work.
