Director for Marketing (Asia Pacific excluding Greater China)

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for definition and execution of regional marketing plan goals, investments & priorities (incl. trade marketing, media & campaigns and digital).
• Responsible for definition and supervision of SEA regional marketing plan goals, investments & priorities (incl. trade marketing, media & campaigns and digital).
• Liaise and co-ordinate with global media & campaigns, provide regional recommendation and insights, drive localization of global marketing plans in-market and identify requirements on marketing assets.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with marketing execution EMEA and North America.
• Partner with global and regional Sales Channel leadership to understand channel strategy, objectives and targets to build the most effective marketing plans for the assigned region.
• Effective management of agencies.
• Effective management of consumer marketing budget for the region.
• Manage KPI & ROI measurement and reporting.
• Ensure provision of data and information.
• Support execution with excellence from global inception through to in-market execution.
• Responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all marketing, communications & media strategies/relation to grow Sennheiser’s Brand Equity among stakeholders; and to steer channel trade marketing & digital marketing and CRM initiatives; and end user engagement & demand generation for the Consumer, businesses retail and online across markets in CHB South-east Asia (6 key Southeast Asia markets + emerging markets).

Pre-requisites:

• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Marketing from a reputed college.
• 5+ years of experience in running marketing teams with consumer brands, preferably consumer electronics industry.
• Extensive background in all marketing disciplines.
• · Familiar with the general marketing landscape in Asia and understanding what is needed on operational level in the markets.
• Comfortable in a change environment, history of creating, developing and managing teams across different cultures and territories.
• Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and execute and oversee marketing plans.
• Ability to identify marketing opportunities and analyze marketing/industry trends that may impact strategy.
• Experience in international environments and in leading global projects.
• Experience in sales environment.

About the Team

The TikTok E-commerce Recommendation and Marketing Algorithm team is responsible for algorithm and big data work on e-commerce innovation projects. Leveraging on our products, the team helps users discover and acquire great products, enriching their lives. In this team, we not only use recommendation and search algorithms to help users find items they are interested in but also employ risk control algorithms and intelligent platform governance algorithms to detect violations, ensuring a secure shopping experience. We build intelligent customer service technologies and large-scale product knowledge graphs to improve the efficiency of various transaction processes. Furthermore, we develop logistics and operations research algorithms to enhance supply chain efficiency, and we apply artificial intelligence to help merchants improve their operational capabilities. Responsibilities

- Participate in optimizing TikTok e-commerce growth and marketing algorithms, including core capabilities such as user value modelling, personalized messaging, recommendations, and intelligent marketing.

- Establish a user lifecycle data and value system to address core pain points and business challenges related to TikTok Mall user growth.

- Contribute to the implementation of product and technical solutions for user growth engines, such as personalized push notifications/emails, recommendation handling, etc., to increase e-commerce DAU and penetration rates.

- Optimize algorithms related to recall/sorting for new user recommendations, improving the relevance of traffic source handling and the accuracy and diversity of new user recommendations.

- Optimize intelligent marketing algorithms, utilizing uplift models and operations research methods to improve marketing efficiency and drive e-commerce GMV growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline.

- Experience in C++ and Python; at least one of the Big Data tools (For eg. Hive sql/Spark/Mapreduce; at least one of the Deep Learning tools(For eg. Tensorflow/Pytorch).

- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, with excellent coding skills.

- Strong learning ability, curiosity, and good communication and teamwork skills.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in user growth or intelligent marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

- Candidates who have published papers in top AI conferences/journals or achieved notable results in ACM/Machine Learning competitions

- Experience in recommendation systems, advertising, user growth, intelligent marketing, or related fields, with expertise in LTV estimation, uplift modelling, operations research, sequence modelling, or multi-scenario modelling optimization is a plus.

Sales Executive

• Identify and develop new business within the assigned territory (General Trade/ HORECA segment) consistent with the company’s growth strategy.
• Introduce new products and provide trade product training
• Plan and execute trade promotions and marketing activities.
• Track sales movement to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Manage and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent order fulfilment and resolve any issues promptly.
• Monitor and analyse sales off-take data and stocks inventory to ensure accurate forecast and optimal outcome.

The Person:

A hands-on and seasoned sales professional, you should possess a diploma/degree or equivalent with good track record of at least 2 to 3 years of sales experience preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods industry (FMCG) managing accounts in General Trade or HORECA segment. You should be independent, result-driven and be able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should have excellent communications and presentation skills, good customer relationship management skill and fluency in English.
