Sales Admin Assistant

• GCE O/N Levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Possess good communication and co-ordination skills.
• Relevant experience in customer service/ NAVISION software will be an advantage.
• Preparation of Quotations, Delivery Orders and Sales Invoices.
• Attend to customers’ requests and enquiries from both online and offline sales channels.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Customer Services Sales Specialist. Job responsibilities include:

• Responding to WhatsApp, Shopee, Lazada, Facebook & TikTok messages
• Selling and closing sales from the above channels
• Ensuring customer satisfaction during their interactions with us
• Once foundations are set, you will be expected to maintain a CRM software and periodically check in with our clients to keep retention rates high

This job will mostly include being on your laptop/phone for long periods. However, take note that this is NOT a work-from-home role.

Working Hours (6-Day Week)

Monday to Saturday

10am to 6pm

Qualifications

• Strong Texting Phone Etiquette skills (Use of languages, periods & emojis)
• Customer Service and Customer Experience skills
• A strong command of the English language
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in the hotel, customer service, or e-commerce industry is a plus

Remuneration

• A base salary will be provided, but do note this is a commission-based role where you will be rewarded based on the number of customers closed
• We expect around 100+ messages per day, and our typical close rate is around 15%-20%

Responsibilities:

• Understand the company's portfolio, its business nature and relevant markets
• Supporting in sales and marketing events (e.g. preparation, trainings, seminars, workshops etc.) for the Regional Sales Team. This includes and is not limited to events preparation, logistics and administrative support, events management
• Develop a sales mindset and sales pitch to capture customer attention and interest
• Strategically target and prospect the correct customers through information online and contacting these customers (online, phone or even in person) to verify their relevance to selected R&S portfolio
• Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Graduating students with Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or relevant field of studies
• Good communication (i.e. writing and speaking) and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, proactive, self-motivated and willingness to learn
• Possess good customer-focused and results-oriented mindset / attitude
• Willingness to coordinate and work with colleagues across other departments or countries
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement performance improvement strategies for Account Managers.
• Act as the lead consultant to create customer-focused service offerings.
• Support the Director, Relationship Sales in crafting customer strategies to secure new and incremental business within SMEs and key account portfolios.
• Conduct regular joint visits/calls with sales team member to monitor skill development and identify further training needs.
• Adhere to regional profit margins and discount guidelines.
• Manage a rigorous follow-up process to build relationships with board level directors and senior decision-makers.
• Ensure the country sales strategy is integrated into all major targets set for the sales force.
• Oversee Account Managers use of the pipeline forecast to ensure timely negotiation of business from new and existing customers.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of the Global Sales Policy across all sales territories, achieving regional objectives for sales force effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure effective servicing of all DHL customers by the sales force, identifying and initiating up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the department.
• Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective department.
• Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
• Conduct performance appraisals, define training & development plans for all sales team members and ensuring targets are achieved through regular skill assessment.
• Manage the allocation of resources and staff commitment to achieve Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the transportation or service industry.
• Experience of building a sales team.
• Experience of business consulting and project management techniques.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Preferably Degree in Business or equivalent.
