5. Corporate Sales & Marketing Strategy

• Align to corporate marketing strategies and work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute corporate marketing initiatives and sales campaigns.

• You will participate at trade events or any events that the Company is promoting its products/services. These may be local or overseas and extend into non work day/hours.

• You are to gather and feedback on competitor and customer data for sales and marketing analysis, create awareness of industry/market trends, competitor activities and product competitiveness.

• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

• You are to liaise and attend meetings or networking sessions as and when necessary to aid business and organisational development.

• You are required to put in time and effort to self-learn products/applications and or attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in outdoor or field sales.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

• A valid driver’s license is a bonus

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team!

As a Sales Manager, we rely on you to:

• Maximizes upselling opportunities whenever possible.
• Personally handles key wholesales / corporate accounts as assigned
• Develops strategies in securing or maintaining a preferred hotel status for global accounts and optimizes revenue contribution from HVGA, PGA, DGA TGA accounts at property level.
• Develops and executes effective business development strategies that will ensure a continued and sustainable profit growth for rooms as well as all revenue centres.
• Cross sell other Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.
• Attends major travel functions and promotional events to promote sales (Rooms, Catering, F&B and other facilities and services) for the hotel.
• Analyzes market changes. Under the direction of the Director of Sales, implements proactive programs to meet changes, i.e. changes brought about by political, economic or competitive changes in the market place.
• Keeps abreast of current and future competitors’ products, pricing and sales programs and deploy resources to efficiently optimize RevPAR and achieve / maintain the leading market position.
• Provides leadership to the sales team.
