Data Center Sales Leader / Head of Sales (Singapore, Power Solutions)
Job Description:
Market Strategy, Sales Execution, and New Market Exploration: Lead the development and aggressive execution of targeted sales strategies to penetrate the Singapore and Southeast Asia data center markets. Focus on Data Center Operators, Facility Managers, and Enterprises, proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while staying ahead of market trends and competitor activities. Forge, establish, and nurture strategic relationships and partnerships with key decision-makers seeking advanced power solutions, cooling systems, rack and enclosure solutions, and monitoring and edge technologies, particularly in electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Demonstrate a relentless pursuit of new business (Hunt), securing accounts and expanding market share, all while driving growth and enhancing market visibility. Adopt a tenacious, results-driven approach to uncover untapped prospects and expand the company’s footprint across the region.
Customer-Centric Solutions: Engage with potential customers to deeply understand their unique needs, positioning yourself as a solutions provider, not just a vendor. Internal Collaboration & Project Delivery: Collaborate closely with internal teams—engineering, product development, and operations—to align on sales initiatives and ensure smooth delivery of solutions. Actively drive the sales process through to successful project execution, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with at least 3 years of leading & People management experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales/hunting experience in the Data Center sector, specifically in Singapore.
- Strong network with established relationships with clients/decision makers of data centers, colocation service providers, Data Center Operators, Facility Managers, and Enterprises are significant assets.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential for this role. The candidate must be able to speak, read, write and or translate Chinese documents into English and vice versa when needed, understands complex materials or technical terms in both languages, communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking counterparts or with Headquarters, and effectively engage with clients in Singapore and the wider region, where English is the primary language for communication.
- Experience in Southeast Asia Sales, with familiarity with industry-specific terminology in the power sector, is advantageous with proven track record in sales, showcasing expertise with data center hardware, including power solutions, cooling solutions, rack and enclosure solutions, and monitoring and edge solutions, particularly in electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Strong market analysis, promotion, and development skills, with a keen sense of market trends and project operation experience.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and sales skills, demonstrating the ability to independently drive and complete sales tasks with confidence.
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams.
