Job Summary:
The Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that products are effectively displayed, promoted, and stocked in retail stores. The role involves working closely with sales teams, store managers, and customers to drive product sales and enhance brand visibility. The Sales Merchandiser will help ensure that the store is visually appealing and that products are readily available for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Display and Merchandising: Ensure that all products are well-stocked and displayed according to brand guidelines. Set up attractive displays and promotional setups to maximize sales. Implement visual merchandising strategies to increase product visibility and customer interest. Maintain organized product shelves, making sure that labels, pricing, and promotional materials are accurate.
  
• Stock Management: Monitor product inventory levels and replenish stock as needed. Report low stock levels, product shortages, and any damaged or expired goods to the store or warehouse management. Assist with stock rotation to ensure that older products are sold first.
  
• Sales Promotion: Assist in the promotion of new and seasonal products through in-store displays and activities. Implement and execute marketing campaigns or special promotions as directed by the company or brand. Engage with customers to highlight product features and encourage purchases.
  
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries. Establish relationships with store staff to ensure product knowledge is shared and maintained. Help customers with product selections by providing insights into product benefits.
  
• Market and Competitor Monitoring: Stay informed about competitor products and promotional activities. Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to the sales or marketing team.
  
• Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, including stock levels and product movement. Track and document merchandising activities, sales figures, and customer feedback. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve product placement and increase sales.
  

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales, marketing, or retail management are a plus.
• Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and retail industry trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• May involve evening or weekend shifts, depending on store hours and promotional events.
• Some travel may be required if working across multiple locations or stores.

• Bill and invoice Management: Keying of sales orders from walk in customers/WhatsApp orders.
• Cashiering: Processing customer transactions.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of stock items in warehouse, highlight if stock is not enough for delivery.
• Accounts Management: Keeping track of payments and following up of pending payments.
• Files Management: Filing paperwork passed to you by external and internetal warehouse employees, filing paperwork for tax declaration, tallying and flagging accounts that have missed payments/orders, and any other ad hoc duties.
• Adhoc: Support director's admin tasks.

Requirements:

• Able to work Saturday.
• Must be aged twentyone and above to be able to handle restricted tobacco products.
• Basic Computer skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English language to process mandarin documents and liase with Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking customers.
• Diploma or degree in a related field like Accountacy, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Retail is a plus.
• Class 3/3A license is a plus.
