Roles & Responsibilities
· Handling of spare parts enquiries Develop a very clear and detailed understanding of customer needs; to enable an increased conversion of RFQ’s to orders and increase in sale
· Parts sourcing, price calculation and quotations.
· Actively track the status of quotations issued and process these with customers and internally to ensure successful resolution and sales closure
· Order processing, issuing supplier PO & shipment arrangements globally
· Coordinate between Customers, Suppliers & Transporters/Forwarders for smooth parts delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.
· Build up rapport with Customers locally and worldwide to increase spare parts sales. Responsible for sales within organization
· Any other duties as assigned by the Company
REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience in Marine Parts Sales.
· Technical background with knowledge of operating principles of mechanical & electrical components.
· Previous Spare Parts Sales Experience with one of the Main Marine Equipment Makers such as Aalborg, Oilon, Sunflame, Mitsubishi, Saacke, Volcano, Weishaupt ,etc. would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook
- Able to adapt to and cope within a fast-paced environment
- Independent, responsible & driven to close Customers orders
