• Develop and plan sales strategies to meet monthly sales targets and progressive KPIs.
• Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets customers’ expectation.
• Work closely with Sales Manager and Director to develop and implement sales and service strategies to achieve committed sales target.
• Work closely within Sales Department to manage and expand existing business and contribute to meet sales KPI.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical or Mechatronics field.
• Have a strong and successful sales experience for more than 2 years in marine or oil and gas industry.
• Positive working attitude and self-motivated.
• Preferred who are familiar with valves and pumps or piping solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop existing Ship Supply businesses.

· Develop and enhance customer relationships

· Identify and secure new business opportunities

· Suggest and implement strategies to promote sales, grow business with existing customers

· Develop a frontline relationship with customers

· Communicate trends/pricing issues and other unique issues as it relates to sales

· Work closely with Operations and management with regard to sales needs

· Analyse market information and sales information to keep abreast of the latest development.

· Handle running order quotations.

· Handle cruise and tender quotations.

· Assisting the Accounts team to highlight those customers who are late payments or chasing payment.

· Handle customer complaint

· Provide personalized service to customers (e.g. delivery)

· Other responsibilities as and when required.

Job Description:

• Prepare and submit quotations, along with proposals for new product offerings.
• Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to ensure our competitiveness within relevant industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, providing exceptional customer service and acting as a liaison between departments.
• Make informed decisions regarding stock distribution to the market, minimizing losses while maximizing efficiency.
• Address and resolve quality issues by coordinating with Warehouse Supervisors to assess spoilage levels, and recommending appropriate actions to the Director.
• Oversee the development of new products through break-bulk processes, re-packaging, and product mixing.
• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for new customer acquisition.
• Manage online sales platforms by suggesting new product additions, updating the portal with new items, and removing seasonal products as necessary.

Requirements and Other Information:

• The position follows a 5.5-day work week which will transition to alternating Saturdays depending on individual's learning progress.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Knowledge and experience in the FMCG industry will be considered advantageous.
