The Account Manager will be responsible for hunting new business, managing existing client accounts, building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis. This role will be focused on selling Brightsparks ( https://brightsparks.com.sg/) products and services to Govt, Large MNCs and Overseas Universities.

Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

• Proactively identify and engage potential customers through diverse channels.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to pinpoint new leads and foster business growth.

2. Client Acquisition and Sales:

• Present and advocate for our products/services to prospective clients.
• Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Clearly communicate the value proposition of our offerings and negotiate terms to successfully close deals.

3. Account Management and Relationship Building:

• Establish and sustain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Comprehend clients' needs and objectives to provide customized solutions, maximizing client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are executed seamlessly.

4. Cross-selling and Upselling:

• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
• Educate clients on new features or offerings that align with their evolving business objectives.

5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and ongoing deals.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Education:

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of proven success in sales, preferably within a B2B environment.

Skills:

• Proficient in sales, negotiation, and communication.
• Ability to establish and sustain effective client relationships.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience selling into government agencies and educational institutions is advantageous.
• Prior experience in media sales, both digital and print, is a plus.
• Proven success in prospecting and lead generation.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive new business directly from customers, identify and develop effective and scalable channel partners based in respective territories for building robust sales pipelines.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, seek additional revenue opportunities through up-selling and renewals.
• Accountable for owning all aspects of the sales cycle, whilst consistently generating pipeline to meet and/or exceed quota.
• Create and maintain all major customer deliverable (proposals, statements of work, etc.) to provide over-the-top customer service and support.
• Understand the value proposition of our CDN and cloud security solutions and more productively, communicating all offerings to C-level executives and decision makers.
• Continuously keep abreast of industry and market trends, whilst building strong knowledge in our products and services.
• Drive business cadence for weekly team meetings on pipeline update, opportunities review, customer account reviews, etc.
• As CDNetworks country representative, to present on external symposium, conferences, media and industry events.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals/quotas. Good key account management skill and business acumen.
• Ability to gain access and interact with C-level executives with effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales management experience, preferably in IT solutions/Cloud or similar Hi-tech environment.
• Energetic, self-motivated, result-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic growth environment.
• Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), internet and Cloud Infrastructure, Media and Cyber Security Services is highly desired.
• Familiarity with CRM platform especially Salesforce is highly desired.
• Possessing of experienced and resourceful channel partner such as Systems Integrator, Value Added Resellers in network and security field will be a plus.

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential customers in Singapore.
• Manage existing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing their needs effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice on our products and services.
• Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals tailored to the client’s needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery and customer support.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Team Lead.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
• Provide regular feedback to the Sales Team Lead on market conditions and customer insights.
