Seeking a dynamic and experienced Distributor Sales Manager for a European Diagnostics company to lead our expansion efforts in the APAC region, this position will report directly to the Distributor Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
The Distributor Sales Manager will focus on implementing strategic initiatives to expand footprint in APAC markets.
Main Tasks :
1) Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate key markets, enhance market presence and demand for our diagnostic solutions.
- Identify, generate, and cultivate new business opportunities, including onboarding distributors, customers, and strategic partners.
2) Sales Growth through Distribution Management:
- Lead revenue growth in the Asia Pacific region by identifying, onboarding new distribution channels while optimizing existing partnerships to enhance commercial success.
- Monitor distributor performance and alignment with strategic objectives to ensure effective execution of sales strategies, and maximize sales performance to support the company’s global growth strategy.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.
- Conduct market studies to understand regional dynamics and develop strategies for optimal market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Support and lead the launch of new products in the APAC markets.
3) Marketing Initiatives:
- Organize and oversee product awareness campaigns, seminars, and events in collaboration with the marketing team and the local distributors.
- Foster relationships with distributors, customers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and represent us at relevant congresses and seminars.
4) Stakeholder Collaboration and Regulatory Compliance
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (including sales, product marketing, communication, regulatory affairs, order management, technical support, field application specialists, finance, and corporate management) to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
- Conduct all commercial activities in line with our quality policies and ensure compliance with local and global regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• Commercial leadership experience in APAC markets.
• Experience in Distributor Development/Management in APAC
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in relevant scientific fields
• In-depth knowledge of molecular diagnostics, including q-PCR and NGS( Next Generation Sequencing) technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility and cultural sensitivity to work in a rapidly growing yet still small company
• Proactive, self-motivated, independent, solutions-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic
environments.
• Regular travel across Asia Pacific region is required
