Kennedys is looking for a Marketing & Events Executive to join the business development and marketing team in Singapore on a 4-month fixed-term maternity cover.

The individual will also be part of the APAC regional team, working closely with colleagues in Hong Kong and Australia. The role will also contribute to initiatives in the APAC region and globally.

This role will report to the Business Development & Marketing Manager, Singapore, and will work closely with members of our APAC regional team.

Team

Kennedys global Business Development & Marketing team promotes Kennedys’ services and supports the firm’s global growth ambition and our key clients and markets. The APAC BD&M team works in close collaboration with colleagues in UK, EMEA, LatAm and the US on a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives.

The APAC BD&M team supports our growing office network (currently six locations). The current team covers Clients & Markets and Marketing & Communications, although all team members work together to support the full range of business development and marketing activity in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage and end-to-end coordination of all firm, practice and client events hosted by the Singapore office (seminars, webinars, boardroom lunches, client dinners, cocktail functions, sporting events, and other client targeted activities). This includes:

1. researching and developing event concepts, venues, catering options, and tracking expenditure against budget
2. preparing and distributing event communications, and managing distribution lists
3. monitoring event RSVPs, preparing attendance lists and run sheets
4. liaising with venues and suppliers to ensure bookings, catering, AV requirements, signage etc. are delivered to the highest quality for all events
5. producing required collateral (name badges, signage, menus, presentation materials etc)
6. on site and/or virtual management and support
7. post event feedback, reporting and administrative duties such as payment requisitions and expenditure reconciliations.
8. ensure event processes, calendars and protocols are followed.

• Plan and coordinate marketing activities for the Singapore office including events, newsletters, social media, working in collaboration with the APAC team.
• Support agreed sponsorships and partnerships to ensure maximum benefit for the firm.
• Support firmwide and regional marketing campaigns.
• Manage the Firm’s branded merchandise including liaising with external suppliers, internal distribution, and stock control.
• Help maintain a library of partner and lawyer CVs, Singapore proposals and capability statements.
• Help to prepare and format content in the firm’s templates for both internal and external purposes (profiling collateral, client contact cards, presentations etc).
• Arrange professional photo shoots for new starts in Singapore.
• General administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks to support the business development and marketing initiatives of the firm.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Qualifications in event management, marketing, communications or related field viewed favourably.
• Organised and able to prioritise workloads, manage multiple projects. Ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines, and work with a degree of autonomy.
• Comfortable working with colleagues across time zones to ensure regional/global alignment.
• Ability to develop, manage and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal).

Main Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

• Plan, create and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Wechat, Little Red Book) and websites to create interest and for lead generation.
• Design a content calendar to nurture leads through email marketing and social media advertising.
• Write contents and creative copy for social media posts, captions, emails, website content, and other marketing materials.
• Conduct research, analyses for new trend and fresh ways to execute on social media contents and postings.
• Create and curate engaging contents (images, videos, headlines, etc.) for social media posts.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Manage and create social media contents and postings.
• Plan, create and execute an SEO and SEM strategy.
• Analyse our online web traffic, propose ways to increase web traffic, increase conversion rates.
• Create, manage and grow online communities to enhance brand visibility.
• Handle enquiries and feedback on social media.

Client Services

• Cover the front desk.
• Provide back-end support, such as management of mail, cleaners, courier matters, pantry inventory ordering, liaising with finance team on creating invoice.
• Manage common resources such as booking of meeting rooms.
• Any other ad-hoc client services duties as assigned and delegate.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Communications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Digital Marketing.
• Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/ Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Paid Search (PPC) and in-depth experience with website analytics tools is an advantage.
• Proficient in AI apps or e-marketing apps/software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Video Editing, Image Editing is preferred.
• Experience in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, SEO, SEM and email marketing best practices.
• Bilingual (English/Chinese).

• Manage the Influencer strategy through gifting, events and activations, and social content.
• Handle the development and performance of influencer marketing campaigns across social and offline channels.
• Build-up the growing Influencer team, optimizing and scaling the existing programs, work closely with the in-house Creative team to drive impact across all social channels.
• Establish and build relationships with key industry partners on social platforms.

Requirements:

• Degree and above
• At least 5 years of influencer marketing, social media experience in the E-Commerce, Fashion/Retail industry.
• Skilled in leading social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and understands digital marketing trends.
