The Role
• Liaise with Regional Sales Team from the region
• Travel throughout Southeast Asia to meet customers
• Search and establish contact with new clients who can benefit from the service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Make technical/application presentations. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and application education.
• Able to articulate technology and application to both business and technical users.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements, and convey customer requirements accurately to relevant teams
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFQs
• Formulate process flow diagram, general arrangement drawing and plant layout.
• Formulate tender proposals and prepare cost calculations.
• Formulate tender and contract terms with the regions Solution Sales team.
• Administer & maintain sales database(s) and project approval database.• Support trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Contribute in identifying gaps in business and participate in strategy development for the region
The Requirements
· Degree / diploma qualified in a relevant discipline ideally chemical or mechanical engineering.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience gained working in hygienic processing environment in a similar capacity.
· Ideally, experience gained in food, beverage, or the dairy engineering industry.
· Experience in the review of P+IDs
· Ideally, experience gained in technical sales or a technical background with a desire to move into technical sales.
· Self-motivated and pro-active in managing one’s work plans, tasks, and customer visits.
· Ability to travel regionally.
· Good fluency in spoken and written English with an ability to build relationship with customers and internal stakeholders regionally.
