We are looking for a Managing Director to work alongside Global Markets Division for Asia (“AGMD”) – Japanese Client Sales Department (“AGMD-JCSD”) team members to enhance the FX and Derivatives business for Japanese clients with Singapore office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the department’s business plan of identifying new revenue opportunities, building customer and revenue business to align to the Bank's direction/vision.
- Understand the competitive landscape, review department’s performance and identify opportunities for growth as well as risks.
- Monitor and advise on the impacts of economic and regulatory changes.
- Lead the development of competitive products to ensure MUFG are capable of securing new business opportunities within the region.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
- Work in partnership with colleagues across all regions to share best practice, deliver an integrated regional service for our customers, develop new business and create effective processes.
- Work in partnership with Compliance to assess new Global Markets products and seek advice on the impact to Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements, as well as to provide input into cross border matrix to mitigate compliance risks.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder with strong understanding of local regulations.
- Minimum 12 years of Global Markets and Sales & Trading (of Derivatives and FX products) experience, knowledge of competitor landscape covering Interest Rate Derivatives.
- Proficient in spoken and written Japanese language will be required for coverage and to collaborate with Japanese-speaking markets to communicate effectively with clients. Japanese is the working language.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others.
- A proactive, motivated Leader with strong people management skills
