Your key tasks:

• Identify specific regional objectives and develop regional marketing strategies with support from the group marketing and communications team to enhance brand awareness and market presence
• Build strong relationships with regional sales and product teams in order to support them with their client and prospect initiatives, aiming to grow the sales pipeline and achieve business targets
• Plan and execute region-specific campaigns and activities – including events, email and social media campaigns and support in the creation of client success stories
• Oversee the regional public relations and media relations functions ensuring positive coverage
• Collaborate with partners to explore and develop potential initiatives that align with our strategic goals
• Create reporting on campaign performance using your skills and experience to filter valuable information
• Manage marketing and communications projects and liaise with external agencies
• Manage the regional marketing and communications budget

Job Description

• Business development, retain and grow existing customer base and develop new business for the region with the incorporation of marketing activities.
• Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets/goals.
• Convert prospects to generate sales /business for region growth.
• Maintain customer/prospect relationships via personal visits, email, phone correspondence, and other manners of contact such as professional organizations, social media sites etc.
• Ensure proper documentation like technical data and share right information with customers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, R&D, and Regulatory organizations to successfully deliver business plan targets.
• Monitor markets and competition by collecting various product, pricing and relevant information.
• Report progress, metrics and analyses to management on sales and other activities at regular intervals.
• Develop and maintain high level proficiency in navigating and using all company software.
• Plans / support / co-ordinates advertising and promotional activities, including print, online, electronic media and direct mail within sales territory.
• Attend and actively participate in all required meetings. Represent company at trade shows to promote product.
• Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and meet the deadlines.
• Other duties as required or needed by superior /management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma and/or a Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 5 years of related experience in Business Development. Candidates with B2B and Regional Sales Experience (for ASEAN countries).
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external associates at all levels.
• Personal care, home care, Food &Pharma based experience will be preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
• High competency level in all forms of computer literacy including, but not limited to, email use, word processing, spreadsheet creation and manipulation, internet navigation, server access, database use etc.
• Capacity to learn internal software at levels that ensure successful and quick execution of all job task.
• Required language(s): English & other South East Asian languages preferred (This is important as the customer base is APAC Region 80% - outside of singapore).

• Educate, coach and mentor others to effectively and confidently sell all Service products.

Key Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in selling business solutions within Japan. At least 6 months of experience in business development, particularly in biometric authentication technology.
• Proven track record in account management, specifically overseeing partners and managing prospect customer relationships.
• Demonstrated ability in relationship building with both customers and partners.
• Experience in co-creation and collaboration with partners to drive business growth.
• Expertise in business development for biometric authentication solutions, including proposals for applications like payment systems, check-ins, two-factor authentication, royalty programs, and IT infrastructures.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients and partners.

Jason Marine Group Limited is a Maritime-centric Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronics and communications equipment/services and integration services for the commercial marine and offshore industries in Singapore, Asia and Europe regions.

Placed in the care of Head of Marine Business Unit (BU), and working closely/ reporting to the Sales Director (Marine), the Sales Manager (Marine) will

· Identifies, qualifies, and closes complex sales to new and existing Marine, Offshore Oil and Gas customers.

· Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.

· Documents and communicates the voice of customer to internal stakeholders.
