We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Wine Sales cum Events Planner Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving wine sales while planning and executing memorable events that showcase our exceptional wine offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep knowledge of wines, and excellent event planning skills, particularly within the Singapore market.
**Key Responsibilities include , but are not limited to:**
* **Sales Management:**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our wine portfolio to individual and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners to drive sales growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the wine industry in Singapore.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and customer engagement.
* **Event Planning cum operations:**
- Plan, organize, and execute wine tasting events, corporate functions, and private parties, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored event solutions that highlight our wine selection.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, staffing, overseeing operations, and wine selection for events.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering high-quality experiences.
* **Wine Knowledge and Promotion:**
- Stay informed about wine trends, regions, and varietals to effectively educate clients and guests during events and sales interactions.
- Conduct wine tastings and presentations for clients, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of our products.
- Develop marketing materials and promotions to support wine sales initiatives and events.
* **Reporting and Analysis:**
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze event feedback and sales data to continuously enhance the quality of our offerings and customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in wine sales, event planning, or a combination of both.
* Strong knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and pairing suggestions.
* Familiarity with the Singapore market and its wine industry dynamics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build lasting relationships.
* Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
