APEJ Corporate Sales
Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior team members to enhance, develop, and retain existing client relationships through excellent client service
- Work with senior team members to develop and execute strategic plans for each client, outlining a service plan, specific deliverables, and cross selling opportunities
- Build and develop relationships with existing local clients with the goal to independently interact and manage own client service relationships
- Ensure all reoccurring and bespoke client requests are accurate and met on a timely basis
- Partner with fixed income and macro traders to provide innovative trade ideas and solutions to clients
- Identify and escalate sensitive client issues to senior team members; coordinate a timely response to the client
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across the firm, including trading, sales, structuring, operations, compliance, legal, and technology with a common goal of ensuring clients' needs are met
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of work experience in a Sales role within sell or buy side
- Knowledge of, and passion for global markets and ancillary businesses, preferably with experience in derivative products
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to meet client needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
