Responsibilities

• Solicit and maintain favourable contact with potential and current clients; build and maintain good customer relations
• Develop and execute a sales plan to target key prospective accounts and monitor sales programmes activities; as well as manage clients in the region in accordance with the Group’s business strategies
• Collaborate with other internal departments (finance, operations, product, HR) where necessary to resolve othe client-related matters

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electronics engineering
• At least 2-3 years’ sales experience in semiconductor equipment Engineer background preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
• Able to work multi-task, under pressure and communicate effectively in a high paced environment
• Able to engage with various levels of staff and management.
• Able to conduct presentation / product demonstrations in a confident / engaging manner.
• Self-motivated, independent with strong interpersonal skills
• Extremely calm and patient personality.

Our Client:

Our client is a Japanese company specializing in various areas such as textiles, machinery, construction materials and sales of medical & energy-saving products. They are actively seeking for a Shipping & Sales Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of INCOTERMS and SAP ERP System is advantageous
• Processing of Customers/Suppliers orders, Monitoring/Tracking of Orders & Shipments
• Review Customer Purchase Order to ensure orders are correctly entered in SAP system including but not limited to Sales and Purchase Invoices, Delivery Orders and Debit/Credit Notes
• Prepare and manage shipping documents ensuring compliance with import and export regulations
• Coordinating and handling of customer requirement and enquiries
• Correspond and arrange with suppliers, overseas offices, customers and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery
• In charge of the full spectrum of Import/Export shipping documentation based on L/C negotiations, Invoicing, Packing list, Certificate of Origin, Customs/Insurance Certificates
• Preparing Payment Instructions to Accounts and monitor account receivable/payable for each Customer
• Order fulfilment task such as Receiving, Picking/Packing and Delivery of Orders/Samples
• Maintenance of inventory Stock accuracy through regular cycle counts
• Compilation and filing of shipping documents for Audit compliance
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by management

The Requirements:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience dealing with Shipping Documents, including Letter of Credit in the Trading Industry
• Good understanding and experience in Import & Export
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
