Job Description:
This company, headquartered in Japan, has been conducting business exploration to create new businesses in Singapore. They are looking for a Marketing Research Executive in the open innovation and food tech area etc, from research and analysis of start-ups to business proposals.
- Research & analysis of market/technology trends related to business development in the Asia region (agri-food tech etc.). (including participation in exhibitions and reporting to the head office in Japan)
- Hearing and research of trend of potential partners (government-affiliated organizations, universities and startups), and business proposal.
- Research to create new business and values, analyze, devise issues, and propose business models.
- Relation building related to ecosystem (Management and planning event / SNS)
- Make reservations such as hotel and pick-up arrangements for Japanese people who come to Singapore for business trip. Support them when they need support.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Able to make materials by using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience of market and consumer research and analyze is required.
- Proficiency in Japanese language is required to make materials and reports in Japanese to HQ in Japan.
- Interest in areas such as open innovation, agri-food tech and healthcare.
- Comfortable to travel overseas for attending exhibitions
