This Digital Marketing position reports to the Directors/Co-Founders of the Company and interfaces with the organisation’s Marketing and Product Development/R&D Leads.
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in/be given exposure to:
1. Assist with design, planning and execution of eCommerce and direct channel sales and marketing strategies
2. Conduct market research and analyse market needs and trends, including performance of regular top competitor analysis, ensuring recency of information, market/industry sizing, analysis of trends in customer preferences, identification of market trends and identification, and mapping of selling channels.
3. Assist with the coordination of order processing, delivery and returns of customer orders across all sales channels
4. Monitor sales, promotions, marketing and social media programmes, and activities over digital platforms
5. Assist with analysis aimed at improvements in our internal reporting and performance monitoring to drive more accuracy, better insights and more streamlined processes
6. Ad hoc analysis for stakeholders throughout marketing and e-commerce campaigns
Technical Skills and Competencies
1. Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Business/Digital Marketing/Arts (with 3 - 5 years of experience delivering marketing analytics insights for mid-career applicants)
2. Retail and/or e-commerce experience would be advantageous
3. Expert Excel skills and other analytical tool familiarity would be preferred (SQL, SAS, BI Tools, etc.)
4. Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics; other analytics and testing tools is a plus (Facebook analytics, etc.)
5. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing
6. Excellent organizational and project management skills; organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, work quickly around tight deadlines
7. Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
8. Strong analytical mindset; proficient communicator and creative problem solver
9. A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude and able to work independently when required
