Our estimated annual salary range for this position is SGD 160,000 – SGD 190,000 + commission and other benefits. The actual salary offered will depend on the assessment of experience and seniority during the interview process.

Job Description

• Attend to customer enquiry on Industrial Automation products
• Work with design team on conceptual design
• Prepare periodical sales report
• Project management support for the entire project cycle
• Work with marketing team to explore new business opportunities

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in any Engineering discipline
• Positive work attitude, willing to put in extra effort during peak period
• Strong communications skills
• Exposed to Project Management, Industrial Automation and/or Robotic Systems
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD

The Sales / Commercial Executive is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:-

• Responsible for handling RFQs within the time allocated including receiving, creating and distributing the quote to the client
• Download customer inquiry and orders from various internet-based customer portals & e-platforms (i.e. Ship-Serv, Sis Commerce, BaseNet, MarineLink, B2B, etc)
• Accurately update relevant information and line items in the company ERP system (D365 & SCINT)
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Commerical Manager
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the ship chandler industry

Job brief

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and ensuring the development of the company's presence within the specified territory.

Responsibilities

A) Sales Strategy, Planning and Execution:
1) Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for his responsible area.
2) Identify market opportunities, growth areas, emerging trends to maximize sales potential; Generate new leads, pursue potential customers, and close deals.
3) Create annual and quarterly sales plans with measurable targets and objectives.
4) Meet and exceed annual sales targets and quotas.

B) Key Account Management and Business Development:
1) Identify and acquire new customers, building, establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with key clients and decision-makers.
2) Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations to potential and existing customers.
3) Address client concerns, provide solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction, building long-term partnerships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

C) Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
1) Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
2) Identifying gaps in the market and suggest possible strategies to expand the company’s presence; reporting on market trends, customer needs, and monitoring competitors’ activities, product launches, and pricing strategies to stay ahead in the market.

D) Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
1) Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities to management.
2) Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and potential leads in the CRM system.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles of at least 5 years of experience within the machine tools or industrial equipment sector.
• Good command of English
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• With own vehicle and valid driving license
• Candidates with greater experience will be considered for Senior position
