Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities in the construction and cement sector.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, potential suppliers emerging trends, and competitor activity.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies to penetrate new markets, increase sales, and achieve revenue targets.
• Present and pitch cement related products to new clients, showcasing technical specifications and benefits.
• Present and pitch non-cement products from group company in Japan to customers in the non-cement sector.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, existing suppliers ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular client meetings to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of sale, ensuring profitability and long-term client retention.
• Monitor client satisfaction, resolve any issues or concerns, and provide after-sales support.
• Provide forecasts and reports on sales performance and customer feedback to senior management.
• Develop and implement sales plans that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Set and achieve sales goals, including volume targets, revenue growth, and profit margins.
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitors to inform business strategies.
• Ensure sales processes are efficient and align with company standards.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its products.
